職業(yè)教育與普通中等教育關(guān)系之探——以“斯內(nèi)登與杜威之辯”為例
[Abstract]:At the beginning of the 20th century, the relationship between vocational education and general secondary education became one of the most controversial issues in American educational reform. David Snedden, who supports an independent vocational education system, and Dewey, who supports a comprehensive education program, have fought for two rounds. Snedden stands on the standpoint of "education for efficiency, education for occupation", regards education as the way to improve social efficiency, and suggests that vocational education should form its own system and coexist with public middle schools. Dewey, on the other hand, suggested that vocational education should be added to the public secondary school system. To a certain extent, the controversy between the two people is caused by the different understanding of the relationship between education and social reality, and the difference of educational thought determines the difference of educational stand and practice. The controversy between the two had a profound impact on the change of American public schools in the 20 ~ (th) century, especially on the transformation of public school functions. It has certain enlightening significance to the reform of general secondary education in our country.
