隨著人們生活水平的提高和生活節(jié)奏的加快,快餐在日常生活中發(fā)揮著越來越重要的作用。這種不健康的飲食習慣使得人們面臨許多健康問題,尤其是與超重和肥胖有關的問題。與此同時,由于缺少體育鍛煉,肥胖在當今社會越來越常見。尤其是兒童,易受外部環(huán)境的影響,包括媒體和企業(yè),他們會接觸到許多不健康的食物。兒童肥胖引起的健康問題應當受到高度重視。本論文是一篇英漢翻譯實踐報告。兩篇原文有關兒童肥胖問題,選自美國國立衛(wèi)生研究院網站https://www.nih.gov。該網站致力于研究和發(fā)布流行病方面的文章,為人們健康生活提供建議和解決方案。翻譯中遇到的主要問題包括對專業(yè)詞語對應的漢語表達選擇不當、普通英語詞語的翻譯不得體以及句子的翻譯過分拘泥于英語句法結構。具體解決策略包括進一步采用網絡資源使專業(yè)詞語的翻譯做到規(guī)范,根據漢語語境把握普通英語詞語在譯文中的相應表達,根據漢語句法特點和目標讀者的閱讀期望對句子的翻譯進一步優(yōu)化。簡言之,要做好翻譯工作,譯者需要不斷拓展知識結構,提高搜索技能,對英漢語言差異有更加深入的理解。希望本報告能有助于翻譯能力的提高。
