本翻譯實踐報告基于由中國國家社會科學(xué)基金支持的《中國三十大發(fā)明》翻譯項目。本次項目團隊由20名成員組成,負責(zé)該書后二十個章節(jié)的英文翻譯,本報告的作者負責(zé)書中《火藥》和《青蒿素》這兩章節(jié)的翻譯�！痘鹚帯泛汀肚噍锼亍穼儆诳萍际奉愇谋�,該兩章包含了大量有關(guān)中國文化、中醫(yī)和科學(xué)原理的內(nèi)容,譯為目標(biāo)語后在一定程度上會妨礙讀者的理解,降低譯文的接受程度。為了解決該問題,譯者在翻譯中采用了深度翻譯的策略,旨在縮小兩種文化之間的差異,同時使讀者更接近文本,了解中國文化,促進文化間的交流與傳播。具體來說,注釋是實現(xiàn)深度翻譯的主要方法。在添加注釋的過程中,需注重文本意圖和尊重源語文化。本報告將注釋從形式上分為兩種主要類型,即顯性注釋和隱性注釋,再根據(jù)其內(nèi)容和加注方式進一步細分三到四種小類,并進行案例分析,希望該報告能對未來的科學(xué)歷史文本的英譯有所啟發(fā)。
