該報(bào)告翻譯文本選自喬·R·費(fèi)金（Joe R.Feagin）《白人種族框架》一書的第七章《制度運(yùn)行下的白人種族框架——種族壓迫官僚化》,主要研究白人種族框架在美國(guó)重要制度中的影響和運(yùn)行方式,評(píng)估白人種族框架對(duì)美國(guó)當(dāng)代公共政策決策的影響,并探討白人種族框架的其他全球性影響。筆者選擇該作品作為翻譯文本是為了解美國(guó)的種族主義概念、歷史和現(xiàn)狀,以及人權(quán)問題,并希冀為他人了解相關(guān)國(guó)際形勢(shì)提供可靠幫助。該文本屬于信息型文本,旨在表現(xiàn)事物與事實(shí)。為了準(zhǔn)確傳達(dá)原文本作者的思想和觀點(diǎn),筆者選用德國(guó)功能派主要理論之一、弗米爾提出的目的論作為指導(dǎo)理論,采用直譯、意譯的翻譯方法,輔以詞性轉(zhuǎn)換、句型轉(zhuǎn)換、分譯和重構(gòu)等翻譯技巧,以實(shí)現(xiàn)譯文在譯語環(huán)境中的交際目的為最高準(zhǔn)則,傳遞原文的指稱內(nèi)容,筆者希望該翻譯報(bào)告對(duì)相關(guān)文本的翻譯具有借鑒功能。
