內外資企業(yè)技術差距對FDI溢出效應的門檻效應分析

【摘要】：從1992年提出“以市場換技術”就是希望利用FDI產(chǎn)生的技術溢出效應改善中國經(jīng)濟增長的質量,而理論界對技術外溢是否產(chǎn)生卻沒有定論。隨著FDI跨國對象從發(fā)達國家轉向發(fā)展中國家,學者的研究中技術溢出的正向影響逐漸減弱,在對發(fā)展中國家的研究中越來越多考慮了東道國的吸收能力的技術溢出效果的影響。而從理論上外商直接投資(FDI)對東道國的技術溢出效應已經(jīng)達成了普遍共識,但對FDI技術外溢的實證研究卻存在很多分歧。當然從研究技術方法層面講：數(shù)據(jù)的處理、歸回模型以及計量指標的選擇必然會造成估計結果的不同,但更深層次的原因是前人的研究往往著重于對FDI對東道國國內技術進步的作用,未從東道國角度對溢出效應進行分析。從FDI的角度主要局限于對外資企業(yè)的區(qū)位選擇,及外資企業(yè)進入國內市場所帶來的先進技術的傳播方式等。忽視了,除了外資企業(yè)的擴散對內資企業(yè)有很大影響,內資企業(yè)自身對外溢出的先進技術的學習模仿能力也會對FDI的技術外溢產(chǎn)生巨大影響。而東道國企業(yè)與外資企業(yè)的技術差距就是其內資企業(yè)吸收能力的一個重要衡量部分。所以,經(jīng)過更多的研究開始著重于內外資企業(yè)的技術差距對影響技術外溢效的影響。 基于此,本文通過對新增長理論的知識溢出模型進行分析,選取內外資技術差距為視角,研究術差距與FDI技術外溢的非線性關系。并運用了Hansen(1999)門檻回歸模型對技術差距與FDI技術外溢的作用關系進行分析。并綜合解釋了在實證研究中外資是否有溢出的爭論和分歧給出了合理解釋。并進一步對我國的對外招商引資提出理論支撐和契合實際的建議。 本文的結論是：對于技術差距來而言技術外溢的發(fā)生存在門檻效應。只有當東道國內資企業(yè)技術差距跨國門檻之后,技術效應才會發(fā)生。而此后,技術溢出效應也不是全然遞增,達到一定峰值后,技術效應將減弱。
[Abstract]:From 1992, it was put forward that "market for technology" is to improve the quality of China's economic growth by using the technology spillover effect produced by FDI, but there is no conclusion that whether technology spillover occurs or not. With the transition of FDI transnational objects from developed countries to developing countries, the positive impact of technology spillovers in the research of scholars has gradually weakened. In the research of developing countries, more and more consideration has been given to the effects of technology spillover effects of host countries' absorptive capacity. In theory, the technology spillover effect of foreign direct investment (FDI) to the host country has reached a general consensus, but there are many differences on the empirical study of FDI technology spillover. Of course, from the point of view of research technology and method: data processing, regression model and the choice of measurement indicators will inevitably lead to different estimation results. However, the deeper reason is that previous studies often focus on the role of FDI in the domestic technological progress of the host country, and do not analyze the spillover effect from the point of view of the host country. From the point of view of FDI, it is mainly limited to the location choice of foreign-funded enterprises and the dissemination of advanced technology brought by foreign-funded enterprises entering the domestic market. Ignore, apart from the diffusion of foreign-funded enterprises have a great impact on domestic enterprises, the ability of learning and imitating advanced technology spillover from domestic enterprises will also have a great impact on the technology spillover of FDI. The technological gap between the host and foreign enterprises is an important measure of their absorptive capacity. Therefore, after more research, we begin to focus on the impact of technology gap on technology spillover. Based on this, this paper analyzes the knowledge spillover model of the new growth theory, selects the technology gap between domestic and foreign capital as the perspective, and studies the nonlinear relationship between the technology gap and FDI technology spillover. Hansen (1999) threshold regression model is used to analyze the relationship between technology gap and FDI technology spillover. It also gives a reasonable explanation for the controversy and disagreement in empirical research on whether there is spillover of foreign capital. Furthermore, the author puts forward theoretical support and practical suggestions for attracting foreign investment. The conclusion of this paper is that there exists threshold effect for technology spillover. Only when the host country domestic enterprise technology gap cross-border threshold, the technology effect will occur. After that, the technology spillover effect is not completely increasing, and when it reaches a certain peak, the technology effect will weaken.
