基于閱讀的詞匯附帶習得在高中英語教學中的實證研究

  詞匯附帶習得已被證實為二語學習者擴大詞匯量的的重要途徑之一。近來更多的研究開始探究影響二語閱讀中學習者、語篇、詞匯等各層面因素對詞匯附帶習得的影響,但研究結果仍未有定論,尤其缺乏對高中階段英語學習者的研究。故本研究旨在回答以下三個問題:1)中國高中生在二語閱讀過程中如何進行詞匯附帶習得?存在哪些問題?2)語篇層面因素(如話題熟悉度和文學類型)如何影響詞匯的習得和保留?3)目標語的某些特征,如詞性和長度,如何影響對詞匯的習得和記憶?本研究在某重點高中進行英語語篇閱讀與詞匯量測試及其相關實驗。92名高中一年級學生參加了這項研究。正式的閱讀實驗前的詞匯量測試表明他們是中級水平的英語學習者。在閱讀和詞匯測試之前,參與者完成一份對于他們在詞匯附帶習得方面的表現(xiàn)和態(tài)度。其后參與者被要求閱讀兩組具有相似難度水平和不同主題熟悉程度的閱讀材料。每次閱讀語篇之后,他們完成一些關于閱讀語篇內(nèi)容的復述任務并接受詞匯習得即時測試,三周后接受延時詞匯測試。研究結果表明,在二語閱讀中:1)中國高中學生在除了敘事閱讀以外的說明文和議論文閱讀中都可以獲得新的詞匯。雖然學生詞匯量不低,活躍詞匯量相對較少。此外,高中學生對...
