目前《全日制普通高中英語新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》（2013）對學(xué)生的詞匯量提出了更高的要求:高中生應(yīng)學(xué)會使用4500個左右的單詞和400個習(xí)慣用語或固定搭配。然而高中生詞匯學(xué)習(xí)一直面臨著詞匯量不足,費(fèi)時低效,單詞記憶困難等問題。在此形勢下,傳統(tǒng)的詞匯教學(xué)和課堂閱讀教學(xué)方式難以滿足當(dāng)前的教學(xué)需求。新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的頒布以及英語課改的展開,加大了教師詞匯教學(xué)的任務(wù),相應(yīng)的也對高中學(xué)生的詞匯掌握提出了更高的要求,這就需要高中英語教師與學(xué)生找到詞匯教學(xué)與學(xué)習(xí)的新途徑。自然閱讀是相對課堂閱讀而言,以提取意義和信息為主,一般不做具體的閱讀練習(xí)（如多項(xiàng)選擇題）,只有理解受阻時才專門注意詞語。這種方法不僅可以幫助學(xué)生在閱讀過程中有意識地注意某些關(guān)鍵詞匯,也有助于培養(yǎng)他們主動探求生詞意義的意識。Schmitt（2000）認(rèn)為詞匯習(xí)得是一個漸進(jìn)的過程,而自然閱讀則為我們接觸詞匯提供了源源不斷和最廣泛的來源。張憲,亓魯霞（2009）通過研究發(fā)現(xiàn)自然閱讀的一個主要功能是提供詞匯接觸機(jī)會,促進(jìn)詞匯知識的部分習(xí)得,一旦與注意、運(yùn)用、理解等因素發(fā)生交互作用,就可能導(dǎo)致某些知識的完全習(xí)得。本論文寫作的主要目的是研究自然閱讀對詞匯附帶習(xí)...
