英語閱讀在中國英語教學領域占有重要位置。閱讀是一種搜集信息,獲得知識,做出判斷和做出選擇的重要方法,它廣泛存在于日常生活中。對于英語學習者而言能夠獲得良好的英語閱讀理解能力相當重要。關于背誦式輸入在英語閱讀教學中的使用意義,存在兩種不同爭議:許多學者就背誦式輸入對英語閱讀能力是否起到作用這一問題持有不同看法。背誦強調的是基于理解后的學習,它不同于死記硬背側重于機械性的重復記憶。背誦最早起源于中國古代并積極影響了許多中國兒童對母語的學習。背誦被一些人認作是學習外語時的一種可理解性的語言輸入方法,換言之,也就是背誦式輸入。關于背誦式輸入與英語閱讀之間關系的探究是基于輸入假說,圖示理論和先前的對背誦式輸入的研究去揭示背誦式輸入對英語閱讀的影響。文章就背誦式輸入和英語閱讀的聯系對初級中學英語學習者的影響加以探討。為此,提出兩個研究問題:1.背誦式輸入是否可以提高初中生的英語閱讀動機?2.背誦式輸入是否可以提高初中生的英語閱讀成績?基于2017年6月的英語期末考試中英語完形填空和閱讀理解的成績,英語閱讀水平大體一致的晉州市第七中學的八年級一班、四班的各33名學生被挑選以參與該實驗研究。使用英語閱...
