【摘要】：為了增加少數(shù)族裔學(xué)生的數(shù)量,構(gòu)建多樣化的學(xué)生群體,美國(guó)大學(xué)在政府的倡導(dǎo)下開(kāi)始推行優(yōu)惠政策。部分大學(xué)以種族傾向的錄取標(biāo)準(zhǔn)給少數(shù)族裔學(xué)生獲取大學(xué)錄取機(jī)會(huì)提供了特別優(yōu)待,此種優(yōu)待被最高法院判決違反憲法平等保護(hù)條款,予以禁止。此后,各大學(xué)先后嘗試了種族作為附加因素的錄取標(biāo)準(zhǔn)及種族中立的錄取標(biāo)準(zhǔn),公眾對(duì)于這兩種錄取標(biāo)準(zhǔn)褒貶不一。種族因素在美國(guó)大學(xué)錄取標(biāo)準(zhǔn)中的演進(jìn),一方面推動(dòng)了大學(xué)錄取標(biāo)準(zhǔn)向穩(wěn)定、多元、公平的方向發(fā)展,以保障大學(xué)錄取名額的合理分配;另一方面,又促使大學(xué)不斷反思、調(diào)整其錄取標(biāo)準(zhǔn),以平衡不同群體的利益,達(dá)到公共善的大學(xué)使命。
[Abstract]:In order to increase the number of minority students and build a diverse group of students, American universities have initiated preferential policies at the initiative of the government. Some universities offer special advantages to ethnic minority students in obtaining college admissions based on racial orientation criteria, which were banned by the Supreme Court in violation of the amparo clause of the Constitution. Since then, various universities have tried race as an additional factor of admission criteria and race-neutral admission standards, the public to these two admission standards are mixed. The evolution of ethnic factors in American university admission standards, on the one hand, promoted the development of university admission standards to a stable, pluralistic, fair direction, in order to ensure the reasonable distribution of admission places; On the other hand, it also urges universities to reflect and adjust their admission criteria in order to balance the interests of different groups and achieve the mission of public good universities.
