【摘要】：起源于美國的院校研究是以單個的學(xué)院、大學(xué)或系統(tǒng)自身為研究對象，通過收集、整理、分析和報告院校運行數(shù)據(jù)信息，從而為院校的管理和發(fā)展提供咨詢服務(wù)的專門的研究活動。開展院校研究，有利于推進高等學(xué)校管理現(xiàn)代化；有利于推進高等學(xué)校的管理改革與發(fā)展。隨著我國高等教育進入大發(fā)展、大變革的大眾化發(fā)展階段，我國高等學(xué)校管理和發(fā)展面臨極大的挑戰(zhàn)。美國的院校研究，自20世紀(jì)初發(fā)展到今天，已經(jīng)形成了組織模式多樣化、人才隊伍專業(yè)化、內(nèi)容豐富多樣、采用科學(xué)合理的研究范式以及擁有完善、便捷的數(shù)據(jù)信息分享平臺等特征，成為美國高校的“信息中心”和“智囊團”，院校研究在美國高等教育轉(zhuǎn)型時期幫助高校有效應(yīng)對政府和社會的“認(rèn)證”與“社會問責(zé)”，滿足高校管理和發(fā)展需求起到非常重要的作用。研究美國的院校研究，能為我國院校研究的有效開展提供借鑒，從而促進我國高校的管理水平的提高。 本文以“美國院校研究是如何開展的？”這一問題為出發(fā)點，呈現(xiàn)的主要內(nèi)容有：一是運用歷史法介紹了美國院校研究的歷史發(fā)展；二是對美國院校研究的開展進行了詳盡的介紹，包括美國院校研究的組織模式、美國院校研究的主要內(nèi)容、美國院校研究人員的素質(zhì)要求、以及美國院校研究的一般過程，并詳細(xì)介紹了美國院校研究數(shù)據(jù)收集和分析的途徑和工具；三是具體介紹了哈佛大學(xué)院校研究的相關(guān)情況從而加深對美國院校研究的理解；四是總結(jié)了美國院校研究的特點，，并針對當(dāng)前我國院校研究存在的問題提出了一些建議。
[Abstract]:College research originating in the United States focuses on individual colleges, universities, or systems themselves, by collecting, collating, analyzing, and reporting on the running data of colleges and universities. In order to provide advisory services for the management and development of colleges and specialized research activities. Carrying out the research of colleges and universities is beneficial to the modernization of the management of colleges and universities, and to the reform and development of the management of institutions of higher learning. With the development of higher education in China, the management and development of colleges and universities are facing great challenges. Since the beginning of the 20th century, American college research has formed a diversified organizational model, specialized personnel, rich and diverse contents, scientific and reasonable research paradigm and perfect. The convenient data and information sharing platform has become the "information center" and "think tank" of American colleges and universities. College research has helped colleges and universities effectively cope with the "certification" and "social accountability" of the government and society during the transition period of American higher education. To meet the needs of university management and development plays a very important role. The research on American colleges and universities can provide reference for the effective development of our country's colleges and universities and promote the improvement of the management level of our country's colleges and universities. This article is based on "how to carry out the research of American colleges and universities?" The main contents of this issue are as follows: first, it introduces the historical development of American college research by using historical method; second, it makes a detailed introduction to the development of American college research, including the organization mode of American college research. The main contents of American college research, the quality requirements of American college researchers, the general process of American college research, and the approaches and tools of data collection and analysis in American colleges and universities are introduced in detail. The third is to introduce the relevant situation of Harvard university research in order to deepen the understanding of American college research, and the fourth is to summarize the characteristics of American college research, and to put forward some suggestions on the problems existing in the current research of our country's colleges and universities.
