《飛氈》英譯的文學(xué)性再現(xiàn)研究

本論文以余丹譯西西小說《飛氈》為研究對(duì)象�！讹w氈》是西西“童話寫實(shí)”風(fēng)格的主要代表,作品想象大膽、敘事童話、文風(fēng)冷靜,用雜合的語言描繪了香港百年殖民史中普通民眾的生活。譯者在英文翻譯中力圖通過再現(xiàn)原作的文學(xué)性特征以保留小說的文體和語言風(fēng)格。文學(xué)性最早由雅各布森作為文學(xué)研究的對(duì)象提出,特指文學(xué)文本區(qū)別于非文學(xué)文本的語言和形式特征的總稱。這些特征賦予文學(xué)文本陌生化效果。什克洛夫斯基提出的陌生化通過具有難度的形式,揭示熟悉事物陌生的一面,從而喚醒人們對(duì)生活不同尋常的感受。前景化的語言和形式是文學(xué)中實(shí)現(xiàn)陌生化效果的手法。本文認(rèn)為小說《飛氈》形式上的前景化主要體現(xiàn)在修辭上。本文基于文本對(duì)比的方法對(duì)原作語言和修辭的文學(xué)性特征在譯本中的再現(xiàn)展開描述性研究。得到以下結(jié)論:(1)總體而言,譯者以確保譯文的可讀性為翻譯的首要任務(wù);(2)語言層面,譯者采用多種翻譯策略,用音譯和注解等方式保留原作中方言、外來詞和自創(chuàng)詞的陌生化效果;(3)修辭層面,譯者創(chuàng)造性地再現(xiàn)了原作中不同修辭手法的效果。
