本文從圖式理論的視角,探究《射雕英雄傳》中文化負(fù)載詞在瑞典譯者郝玉青(Anna Holmwood)譯本中的英譯策略。圖式對于文化負(fù)載詞的理解有重要作用。只有了解文化負(fù)載詞的圖式,讀者才能清晰地理解該詞。在跨文化交流中,由于目標(biāo)讀者缺乏中文文化負(fù)載詞的圖式,譯者需要解碼源文圖式,再將它編碼入譯文,以把圖式傳遞給譯文讀者。在此譯本中,譯者把武俠小說引入譯語文化,建立金庸武俠小說中的原有圖式。因此,源文中大量文化負(fù)載詞的圖式得以保留。同時,譯者也關(guān)照到了譯文的可讀性。本文將源文圖式和譯文圖式之間的關(guān)系分成三類:圖式空缺、圖式對等以及圖式重疊。通過在此分析框架下的研究,作者總結(jié)了譯者為在目標(biāo)語中引入源文圖式和增強譯文可讀性所運用的翻譯策略。為保留源文圖式,譯者運用了音譯、音譯加解釋、直譯、直譯加解釋的方法,在目標(biāo)語中建立了新圖式。為增強譯文的可讀性,首先,譯者運用直譯,激活源文文化負(fù)載詞在英文中的對等圖式;其次,通過意譯,解釋源文圖式;最后,譯者還通過借詞、增譯和刪減的方法,對圖式進行調(diào)整。希望本文的研究能為武俠小說中文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯提供借鑒。
