本文以文學(xué)翻譯中的闡釋學(xué)理論為指導(dǎo),旨在探討譯者葛浩文的文化身份與英譯本《紅高粱》中存在的文化誤讀之間的關(guān)系。通過(guò)跨學(xué)科和例證研究的方法,對(duì)《紅高粱》的資料進(jìn)行收集和分析,研究影響葛浩文翻譯風(fēng)格的文化身份,探索葛浩文的文化背景和文化身份造成的文化誤讀。本文以闡釋學(xué)理論為理論基礎(chǔ),從喬治·斯坦納提出的信任、侵入、融合、補(bǔ)償四個(gè)方面分析了《紅高粱》中的誤讀現(xiàn)象。筆者首先對(duì)譯者的教育背景、研究領(lǐng)域以及譯者的民族文化身份進(jìn)行了研究。通過(guò)進(jìn)一步的研究,筆者發(fā)現(xiàn)譯者的翻譯觀深受其較強(qiáng)的文化培養(yǎng)環(huán)境的影響。本文的研究成果如下:第一,文學(xué)翻譯中的誤讀是提高文本理解能力的有效途徑。第二,任何譯本都無(wú)法和原文完整地對(duì)應(yīng)起來(lái)。第三,本文試圖尋找一種較為理想的中國(guó)文學(xué)“走出去”的翻譯模式。其理論含義如下:第一,對(duì)于真正忠實(shí)的翻譯而言,雙文化比雙語(yǔ)言更為重要。第二,文化豐富的文學(xué)作品可以作為研究對(duì)象。實(shí)踐方面的啟示有五點(diǎn):首先,一個(gè)有能力的譯者應(yīng)該將自己完全融入不同的文化。其次,譯者必須具有深厚的文學(xué)底蘊(yùn),將原文的風(fēng)格與譯入語(yǔ)相結(jié)合,這是文學(xué)翻譯的最高要求。第三,由于譯者文化身份對(duì)翻譯作品的深刻影響,我們中國(guó)的...
