本篇報(bào)告基于譯者在平行文本指導(dǎo)下對(duì)《三星堆文明》（節(jié)選）的英譯過(guò)程所寫(xiě)。原文材料選自段渝、鄒一清教授的《三星堆文明》前四章,內(nèi)容包括古蜀王國(guó)的形成和發(fā)展、三星堆遺址的發(fā)掘,以及對(duì)神權(quán)政體的介紹。譯者選取Robert Bagley教授所著Ancient Sichuan—Treasures from a Lost Civilization作為平行文本原因有二:一則,該書(shū)涉及三星堆文明的介紹,在內(nèi)容上與翻譯材料極其相近;二則,作者本身來(lái)自英語(yǔ)國(guó)家,英文寫(xiě)作和運(yùn)用更精確和熟練。平行文本是與原文內(nèi)容有關(guān)的任何參考資料。譯者在翻譯過(guò)程中可以通過(guò)閱讀平行文本獲取專業(yè)知識(shí)、借鑒表達(dá)方式以及模仿寫(xiě)作風(fēng)格。在本篇報(bào)告中,譯者通過(guò)實(shí)際案例從詞匯表達(dá)、句式結(jié)構(gòu)以及語(yǔ)篇連貫三個(gè)層面比較分析平行文本和自己的譯文,旨在探討平行文本對(duì)此次翻譯實(shí)踐的指導(dǎo)作用。通過(guò)此次翻譯實(shí)踐,譯者不僅對(duì)三星堆青銅器產(chǎn)生了濃厚的興趣,而且加深了對(duì)三星堆文明的認(rèn)識(shí)。同時(shí),譯者也進(jìn)一步了解了平行文本對(duì)翻譯實(shí)踐中的指導(dǎo)意義,為以后更好地運(yùn)用平行文本提供一定的經(jīng)驗(yàn)和借鑒。
