《唐老亞》(第六至九章)英漢翻譯項(xiàng)目報(bào)告

本文是一篇英譯漢翻譯項(xiàng)目報(bào)告。翻譯源文本選自華裔美國(guó)作家趙建秀的成長(zhǎng)小說(shuō)《唐老亞》的第六章至第九章。廣西哲學(xué)社會(huì)科學(xué)規(guī)劃項(xiàng)目“華裔美國(guó)成長(zhǎng)小說(shuō)的文學(xué)倫理學(xué)批評(píng)研究”的負(fù)責(zé)人委托筆者進(jìn)行第六-九章的中文翻譯,源文本10,530個(gè)英文單詞,中文譯文作為該項(xiàng)目的研究參考資料!短评蟻啞分饕鑼懸晃皇䴕q的在美華裔男孩唐老亞受美國(guó)主流文化影響,歧視與中國(guó)有關(guān)的一切,希望抹去中國(guó)痕跡并完全融入美國(guó)主流社會(huì)。在一系列的家庭教育當(dāng)中,唐老亞逐漸認(rèn)識(shí)到真正的中國(guó)文化,進(jìn)而接受并認(rèn)同自己華人身份。該項(xiàng)目的翻譯文本主要是唐老亞在中國(guó)新年第一天發(fā)生的故事。翻譯文本屬于文學(xué)類小說(shuō)翻譯。該翻譯項(xiàng)目報(bào)告涵蓋了項(xiàng)目描述、指導(dǎo)理論、譯前準(zhǔn)備、案例分析、經(jīng)驗(yàn)總結(jié)等。筆者選取了英國(guó)翻譯理論家皮特·紐馬克的交際翻譯理論為指導(dǎo),該理論注重目標(biāo)語(yǔ)讀者與原文讀者獲得同樣的文學(xué)美感,注重目標(biāo)語(yǔ)讀者反應(yīng),譯者對(duì)解釋原文、調(diào)整句式等操作具有較大自由。在案例分析中,筆者深入探討了非正式英語(yǔ)詞匯(包括粵式英語(yǔ)、唐人街英語(yǔ))的翻譯、非英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法句式的調(diào)整與翻譯、中英文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯、如何再現(xiàn)原文文體風(fēng)格等。筆者還分析了詞類轉(zhuǎn)譯法、增詞法、省略...
