近年來(lái),中國(guó)的電視行業(yè)得到了蓬勃發(fā)展,越來(lái)越多的電視劇輸出國(guó)外。電視劇片名,是其點(diǎn)睛之筆,亦是它的廣告詞。因而,一個(gè)好的片名翻譯是中國(guó)電視劇打入國(guó)外市場(chǎng)的敲門磚。它既要體現(xiàn)源語(yǔ)言國(guó)家的文化和語(yǔ)言特點(diǎn),也需要實(shí)現(xiàn)片名的商業(yè)價(jià)值。即它不僅要包含主要的片名信息和中國(guó)文化元素,符合其目的語(yǔ)的語(yǔ)言習(xí)慣,還要引起觀眾的興趣。然而,當(dāng)前中國(guó)的電視劇的片名翻譯存在很多問(wèn)題:一、大量的優(yōu)秀電視劇缺少片名翻譯;二、部分電視劇的英文片名質(zhì)量低劣,讓人不知所云;三、有些電視劇片名擁有多個(gè)翻譯。此外,國(guó)內(nèi)關(guān)于中國(guó)電視劇片名的翻譯理論,依然處于起步階段,研究成果寥寥無(wú)幾,急需系統(tǒng)的指導(dǎo)原則和方法。本文嘗試以奈達(dá)功能對(duì)等理論為基礎(chǔ)指導(dǎo)中國(guó)電視劇片名的翻譯。奈達(dá)功能對(duì)等理論為譯者提供了一個(gè)新的翻譯標(biāo)準(zhǔn),即好的電視劇片名翻譯,其目的語(yǔ)讀者對(duì)譯文的反應(yīng),與源語(yǔ)言讀者對(duì)源語(yǔ)言的反應(yīng),應(yīng)當(dāng)相同或大致相同。也就是說(shuō),翻譯的目的就是能夠達(dá)到讀者反應(yīng)最大限度的相似。為此,功能對(duì)等理論致力于在目的語(yǔ)中找到源語(yǔ)文本最貼切自然的對(duì)等物,這就要求譯者需要考慮源語(yǔ)言文本與目的語(yǔ)言文本中的語(yǔ)言和文化因素。因此,譯者要充分了解漢英語(yǔ)言的差異和特...
