順應(yīng)論視角下話語標(biāo)記語I mean在《摩登家庭》中的語用功能研究

話語標(biāo)記語廣泛存在于日常交際中,對話語的生成和理解起著至關(guān)重要的作用,并且在很大程度上對維系人際關(guān)系也發(fā)揮著重要作用。目前話語標(biāo)記研究已逐漸成為語言學(xué)研究熱題,學(xué)者們也取得了豐碩的成果,但對其的研究主要是從連貫、關(guān)聯(lián)這兩個(gè)視角出發(fā),較少從順應(yīng)論的視角進(jìn)行研究。本文以順應(yīng)論為理論指導(dǎo),對美國情景劇《摩登家庭》中的話語標(biāo)記語“I mean”的語用功能進(jìn)行研究。結(jié)合劇本本文分析了劇中“I mean”分別在順應(yīng)交際語境和語言語境的情況下發(fā)揮的語用功能,包括對心理世界、社交世界、物理世界的順應(yīng)以及對語篇連貫、篇際制約、邏輯語義關(guān)系的順應(yīng)。通過分析與研究,本文發(fā)現(xiàn)話語標(biāo)記“I mean”在《摩登家庭》中主要有七種語用功能,分別是解釋補(bǔ)充功能,提醒強(qiáng)調(diào)功能,情感與態(tài)度表達(dá)功能,話語組織與填補(bǔ)空白功能,信息修正功能,面子威脅緩和功能以及話題管理功能。此外,本文還對“I mean”不同的語用功能出現(xiàn)情況及原因進(jìn)行了深入分析,以期為交際者如何通過使用話語標(biāo)記語實(shí)現(xiàn)成功交際帶來啟發(fā)。
