隨著各國文化交流的不斷加深,中國文化作品英譯取得豐碩成果,中國少數(shù)民族文化作品的英譯也日益引起人們的重視,相關(guān)研究也大量涌現(xiàn)。現(xiàn)存中國少數(shù)民族文化英譯作品多為少數(shù)民族典籍英譯,全面介紹中國各少數(shù)民族物質(zhì)文化、社會(huì)文化、思想、制度等的普及性英譯作品較少,相關(guān)理論和實(shí)踐研究也較少,這就導(dǎo)致普通外國讀者缺乏全面了解中國少數(shù)民族的渠道。因此,對少數(shù)民族普及性文化作品的英譯進(jìn)行深入研究很有必要。針對上述情況,筆者選取了《中國土家族》一書作為本翻譯項(xiàng)目的原文本。該書為《中華民族全書》叢書系列中的土家族分卷,編著者為熱愛并熟悉本民族文化的專家學(xué)者,書中內(nèi)容真實(shí)可信。同時(shí),該書語言平實(shí)、準(zhǔn)確、生動(dòng),相較于專業(yè)性較強(qiáng)的民族典籍,這本書的譯本更加適合普通外國讀者初步了解中國土家族�！吨袊良易濉芬粫杏写罅课幕瘜Ｓ许�(xiàng),給翻譯造成了一定的困難。本翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告以筆者的《中國土家族》（節(jié)選）漢譯英實(shí)踐為例,并以艾克西拉提出的文化專有項(xiàng)翻譯策略為理論基礎(chǔ),分析以普通讀者為受眾的中國少數(shù)民族普及性文化作品英譯的難點(diǎn)所在,探討艾克西拉提出的十一類文化專有項(xiàng)翻譯策略對于此類文本的適用性,并提出關(guān)于此類文本的翻譯策略和翻...
