　　本報(bào)告基于《劍橋英語史》第三卷第五章第六節(jié)及第六章第一、第二節(jié)的翻譯實(shí)踐。翻譯材料涉及語義變化的原因及方式、早期現(xiàn)代英語時(shí)間段的劃分、英語變體的分類、標(biāo)準(zhǔn)英語的形成等。原文屬于學(xué)術(shù)型文章,對原文進(jìn)行漢譯具有深刻的意義,廣大英語愛好者及英語研究者可從中了解15世紀(jì)后期至18世紀(jì)后期英語的發(fā)展概況。報(bào)告以維奈和達(dá)貝爾內(nèi)的翻譯模式為指導(dǎo),該模式包含直接翻譯與間接翻譯兩種策略,直接翻譯中包含借詞、仿造、直譯三種“程式”,間接翻譯包含轉(zhuǎn)換、調(diào)節(jié)、等值和改編四種“程式”。在該模式的指導(dǎo)下,筆者試圖忠實(shí)還原原作信息和文化色彩,準(zhǔn)確傳達(dá)原文學(xué)術(shù)研究成果。同時(shí)力求句子通順流暢,提高譯文的可讀性。報(bào)告分為五個(gè)章節(jié),第一章簡要介紹項(xiàng)目背景、英語史國內(nèi)外研究概況、英語史相關(guān)文獻(xiàn)漢譯研究概況及翻譯實(shí)踐的意義;第二章闡述譯前準(zhǔn)備活動,包括對原文本的分析以及平行文本的概括;第三章介紹維奈和達(dá)貝爾內(nèi)的翻譯模式以及用于指導(dǎo)本報(bào)告的可行性;第四章案例分析是本文的主要部分,從翻譯模式包含的各個(gè)程式依次對案例進(jìn)行分析;最后一章對報(bào)告進(jìn)行總結(jié)。
