《后自由主義視角下的語(yǔ)言教育政策研究》(第3-4章)英漢翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告

本篇翻譯報(bào)告的原文本選自于彼得羅維奇(Petrovic)的作品《后自由主義視角下的語(yǔ)言教育政策研究》。所選部分主要講述了兩個(gè)方面的內(nèi)容:一是社群、語(yǔ)言與學(xué)校教育三者之間的相互關(guān)系,二是語(yǔ)言人權(quán)發(fā)展的前景和存在的問(wèn)題。該篇翻譯報(bào)告引入賴斯的文本類型理論作為理論支撐。依據(jù)文本類型理論,原文本屬于信息型文本,這就要求譯者在翻譯過(guò)程中要更多關(guān)注原文本的內(nèi)容而不是其形式,準(zhǔn)確傳達(dá)信息才是這一類文本的首要任務(wù)。整個(gè)翻譯過(guò)程共分為三個(gè)階段,分別是譯前準(zhǔn)備、譯中和譯后校正。譯者通過(guò)采用一定的翻譯方法使譯文的質(zhì)量得到了保證。具體來(lái)說(shuō),人名的翻譯是譯者在詞的層面遇到的第一個(gè)難點(diǎn),譯者采用音譯法來(lái)處理。接著,譯者又采用直譯加注法來(lái)翻譯專業(yè)術(shù)語(yǔ),因?yàn)閱螁我揽恐弊g法來(lái)處理這些術(shù)語(yǔ),很難說(shuō)清楚術(shù)語(yǔ)的深層含義,譯者通過(guò)加注來(lái)說(shuō)出術(shù)語(yǔ)所隱含的部分。最后譯者引入意譯的翻譯方法來(lái)保障譯文的可讀性。在句法層面,譯者面臨的最大挑戰(zhàn)就是長(zhǎng)難句和帶有破折號(hào)的句子的翻譯。整合重組法用來(lái)調(diào)整特定句子的順序使譯文更符合目標(biāo)語(yǔ)讀者的閱讀習(xí)慣。另外一個(gè)翻譯方法是順句操作法,這一方法尤其適用于長(zhǎng)句的翻譯。增譯是翻譯領(lǐng)域中最常見(jiàn)的方法之一。然而,零轉(zhuǎn)化這個(gè)翻譯方法又能最大程度的保留原文的語(yǔ)言風(fēng)格和特色。盡管賴斯的文本類型理論給予了整篇翻譯報(bào)告宏觀的指導(dǎo),但是譯者認(rèn)為譯文仍有進(jìn)一步修改和提升的空間。
