來華留學(xué)生再建構(gòu)社會網(wǎng)絡(luò)與跨文化適應(yīng)研究

【摘要】:由于中國經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展,來華留學(xué)生規(guī)模逐漸擴(kuò)大,留學(xué)教育前景十分廣闊。但是目前我國學(xué)術(shù)界對留學(xué)生跨文化適應(yīng)研究,特別是對跨文化適應(yīng)的影響因素的研究,大多停留在宏觀政策層面,微觀層面的研究不多,深入的實證性的研究更是不多見。來華留學(xué)生人數(shù)的不斷增加給中國的大學(xué)的教育體制和管理模式提出了新的課題。 對留學(xué)生社會網(wǎng)的研究,有利于建立良好的社會支持系統(tǒng),減緩生活壓力。留學(xué)生在東道國的社會文化適應(yīng)狀況會不僅會影響到他們切身的學(xué)習(xí)、生活以及心理狀況,還會影響到他們回國之后對東道國的評價,甚至?xí)绊懙綎|道國在國際上的形象。隨著來華留學(xué)生教育事業(yè)的蓬勃發(fā)展,留學(xué)生跨文化適應(yīng)問題的研究己經(jīng)成為現(xiàn)實之需。 本文研究留學(xué)生的再建構(gòu)社會網(wǎng)絡(luò)與跨文化適應(yīng)。主要采用的研究方法是質(zhì)性研究方法,具體包括觀察、非正式交談、訪談、個案分析等。對訪談資料進(jìn)行類屬分析,深入觀察留學(xué)生在中國的日常生活、學(xué)習(xí)、人際交往等方面情況。 本研究從社會網(wǎng)絡(luò)的視角來研究留學(xué)生的跨文化適應(yīng)問題,具體來看包括三個方面。第一,留學(xué)生的跨文化適應(yīng),主要包括社會文化適應(yīng)和心理適應(yīng)兩個方面;第二,留學(xué)生再建構(gòu)社會網(wǎng)絡(luò)。從網(wǎng)絡(luò)的規(guī)模、中心度、緊密度、異質(zhì)性以及連接強(qiáng)度等指標(biāo)進(jìn)行研究,其中對留學(xué)生社會網(wǎng)的建構(gòu)過程進(jìn)行了分析;第三,留學(xué)生再建構(gòu)社會網(wǎng)絡(luò)對跨文化適應(yīng)的影響。 本文提出了幾點探索性的結(jié)論:第一,來華留學(xué)生社會網(wǎng)的規(guī)模對其跨文化適應(yīng)起著積極作用,規(guī)模越大,則跨文化適應(yīng)狀況越好;第二,,來華留學(xué)生在自己的社會網(wǎng)絡(luò)中所處的相對地位高低對其跨文化適應(yīng)會產(chǎn)生作用,在網(wǎng)絡(luò)中的地位越高,跨文化適應(yīng)水平越好;第三,來華留學(xué)生社會網(wǎng)的緊密度越高,越有利于心理層面的適應(yīng),卻不利于社會文化層面的適應(yīng);第四,來華留學(xué)生社會網(wǎng)的異質(zhì)性越高,越有利于其社會文化層面的適應(yīng),卻不利于其心理層面的適應(yīng);第五,來華留學(xué)生社會網(wǎng)中的強(qiáng)關(guān)系越多,越有利于心理層面的適應(yīng),卻不利于社會文化層面的適應(yīng),只有當(dāng)留學(xué)生社會網(wǎng)中強(qiáng)關(guān)系提供資源的能力較強(qiáng)時,社會層面適應(yīng)越好。
[Abstract]:As a result of the development of Chinese economy, the scale of overseas students in China is gradually expanding, and the prospect of studying abroad is very broad. But at present, the research on the cross-cultural adaptation of international students, especially the influencing factors of cross-cultural adaptation, mostly stays at the macro-policy level, the micro-level research is not much, and the in-depth empirical research is rare. The increasing number of foreign students in China has raised new issues for the educational system and management model of Chinese universities. The research on the social network of international students is helpful to establish a good social support system and alleviate the pressure of life. The sociocultural adaptation of foreign students in the host country will not only affect their personal study, life and psychological status, but also affect their evaluation of the host country after they return to China, and even affect the image of the host country in the international arena. With the vigorous development of foreign students' education in China, the research on cross-cultural adaptation of international students has become a reality. This paper studies the re-construction of social network and cross-cultural adaptation of international students. The main research methods are qualitative research methods, including observation, informal conversation, interviews, case analysis and so on. The data of interview were analyzed, and the students' daily life, study, interpersonal communication and so on were observed. This study studies the cross-cultural adaptation of international students from the perspective of social network, including three aspects. First, the cross-cultural adaptation of international students, including social and cultural adaptation and psychological adaptation; second, the re-construction of social network. This paper studies the scale, centrality, density, heterogeneity and connection intensity of the network, and analyzes the construction process of the social network of international students. Thirdly, the influence of the re-construction of the social network on cross-cultural adaptation of international students is analyzed. This paper puts forward several exploratory conclusions: first, the scale of the social network of foreign students in China plays a positive role in its cross-cultural adaptation, and the larger the scale, the better the cross-cultural adaptation; Second, the relative status of foreign students in their own social network will have an effect on their cross-cultural adaptation, the higher the status in the network, the better the cross-cultural adaptation level; Third, the higher the density of foreign students' social network, the more favorable it is to adapt to the psychological level, but not to the social and cultural level. Fourth, the higher the heterogeneity of foreign students' social network in China, the more favorable it is to adapt to its social and cultural level, but not to its psychological level. Fifthly, the more strong relations in the social network of overseas students in China, the more favorable it is to adapt to the psychological level, but it is not conducive to the adaptation of the socio-cultural level. Only when the strong relationship in the social network of foreign students is stronger in its ability to provide resources, The better the social level adapts.
