【摘要】：牧師型校長(zhǎng)是17世紀(jì)到19世紀(jì)中期美國(guó)大學(xué)發(fā)展史上的一個(gè)具有鮮明治校特征的群體。他們面臨的歷史使命和美國(guó)大學(xué)發(fā)展歷史階段的特點(diǎn),決定了他們的治校手段、方式不同于其它歷史時(shí)期的校長(zhǎng)治校。在篳路藍(lán)縷的開(kāi)拓進(jìn)取中,他們用獨(dú)特的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)智慧維系并推動(dòng)了美國(guó)高等教育的發(fā)展。宗教色彩與學(xué)生關(guān)懷成為牧師型校長(zhǎng)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)院校發(fā)展的主要特征。
[Abstract]:Pastoral president is a group with distinctive characteristics in the history of the development of American universities from the 17 th century to the middle of the 19 th century. The historical mission they face and the characteristics of the historical stage of the development of American universities determine their methods of governing their schools, which are different from those of presidents in other historical periods. In their pioneering efforts, they maintained and promoted the development of higher education in the United States with their unique leadership wisdom. Religious color and student concern have become the main characteristics of the development of pastoral principal leadership colleges.
