動(dòng)蕩的學(xué)科與專業(yè)——哈佛教育研究生院的百年難題

【摘要】:如何界定學(xué)科屬性與專業(yè)內(nèi)涵、樹立學(xué)術(shù)聲譽(yù)與專業(yè)影響,是教育學(xué)院發(fā)展的首要難題。哈佛教育研究生院的辦學(xué)歷程顯示,由于無法超越大學(xué)校長(zhǎng)、文理學(xué)術(shù)界和基金會(huì)等外界力量的影響,教育學(xué)院只得不斷變換教育學(xué)的學(xué)科界定與專業(yè)內(nèi)涵。教育學(xué)院因此而得以發(fā)展,其代價(jià)卻是從未將教育學(xué)的學(xué)科屬性與專業(yè)內(nèi)涵確定下來。不過,只要教育學(xué)院在不斷完善學(xué)科與專業(yè)建構(gòu)的同時(shí),還能在大學(xué)、基礎(chǔ)教育界乃至社會(huì)積累更強(qiáng)大的學(xué)術(shù)勢(shì)力,便可以持續(xù)推進(jìn)學(xué)科與專業(yè)發(fā)展,進(jìn)而爭(zhēng)取更好的學(xué)術(shù)聲譽(yù)與專業(yè)影響。
[Abstract]:How to define the subject attribute and professional connotation, establish academic reputation and professional influence, is the first difficult problem in the development of educational college. The course of the Harvard Graduate School of Education shows that because it cannot surpass the influence of outside forces such as the university president, the academic circles of arts and science and the foundation, the college of education has to constantly change the definition of the subject and the connotation of the specialty of pedagogy. As a result, colleges of education have developed at the expense of never defining the subject attributes and professional connotations of pedagogy. However, as long as the colleges of education can continuously perfect the construction of disciplines and specialties, and at the same time accumulate more powerful academic forces in universities, in the field of basic education and even in society, they can continue to promote the development of disciplines and professions. And then strive for a better academic reputation and professional influence.
