【摘要】:百年大計(jì),教育為本。教育是民族振興、社會(huì)進(jìn)步的基石。當(dāng)今世界正處在大發(fā)展大變革大調(diào)整時(shí)期。高等教育事業(yè)正面臨著社會(huì)轉(zhuǎn)型而引發(fā)的巨大變革,高等教育內(nèi)外部環(huán)境發(fā)生著巨大的變化,“大學(xué)”這一古老的組織也面臨著前所未有的機(jī)遇和挑戰(zhàn),其內(nèi)涵、功能也隨著時(shí)間、社會(huì)的變化以及自身的發(fā)展特點(diǎn)有所差異,大學(xué)的內(nèi)涵及功能是個(gè)歷史概念,是各個(gè)不同歷史時(shí)期不斷延伸與發(fā)展的概念。大學(xué)的功能從最原始、最主要、最基本的教學(xué)功能逐漸延伸、拓展出其他的功能:科學(xué)研究、社會(huì)服務(wù)、文化傳承等。在大學(xué)功能演變過(guò)程中也出現(xiàn)了一系列的矛盾與問(wèn)題。作為大學(xué)教育的研究者以及教學(xué)直接參與的學(xué)者們?cè)诿鎸?duì)這些矛盾和問(wèn)題時(shí)應(yīng)該做出怎樣的選擇,從而來(lái)更好地完成自身的使命,無(wú)疑具有極其重要的現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。 首先,本文在已有的中西方有關(guān)于大學(xué)的功能和學(xué)者的使命的研究基礎(chǔ)上,圍繞“現(xiàn)代大學(xué)功能與學(xué)者的使命”這一主題,沿著“現(xiàn)代大學(xué)與學(xué)者—大學(xué)功能的嬗變與學(xué)者身份的轉(zhuǎn)變—現(xiàn)代大學(xué)功能的內(nèi)涵與學(xué)者的使命—現(xiàn)代大學(xué)功能視野下的學(xué)者使命完成之途徑”這一研究思路展開(kāi),對(duì)現(xiàn)代大學(xué)與現(xiàn)代大學(xué)功能進(jìn)行界定,梳理了大學(xué)功能的發(fā)展歷史。 其次,總結(jié)了現(xiàn)代大學(xué)功能的演變過(guò)程中出現(xiàn)的學(xué)者使命弱化現(xiàn)象。包括:學(xué)者育人功能的弱化、學(xué)者政治引領(lǐng)的弱化以及學(xué)者功能行動(dòng)的弱化。具體表現(xiàn)在:教育不公平、教育質(zhì)量下降、學(xué)術(shù)道德滑坡、學(xué)生自我價(jià)值缺失、學(xué)術(shù)自由的缺失及創(chuàng)新精神的缺失等。 最后,本研究秉著現(xiàn)代大學(xué)功能下學(xué)者的使命,學(xué)者面對(duì)如此的境況,該如何來(lái)完成自己的使命?公共知識(shí)分子學(xué)者身份的守望;加強(qiáng)綜合素質(zhì),構(gòu)建主流話語(yǔ)體系;提供智力支持,為國(guó)家戰(zhàn)略服務(wù)幾方面來(lái)完成自己的使命。
[Abstract]:Education is the foundation of a hundred-year plan. Education is the cornerstone of national rejuvenation and social progress. Today the world is in a period of great development, great change and great adjustment. The cause of higher education is facing great changes caused by social transformation, the internal and external environment of higher education is undergoing tremendous changes, and the "university", an ancient organization, is also facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges, and its connotation. The function is different with time, social change and its own development characteristics. The connotation and function of the university is a historical concept, and it is the concept of the extension and development of each historical period. The functions of the university extend gradually from the most primitive, the most important and the most basic teaching functions to other functions: scientific research, social service, cultural heritage, etc. There are a series of contradictions and problems in the evolution of university functions. It is undoubtedly of great practical significance for researchers of university education and scholars directly involved in teaching to choose what kind of choices they should make in the face of these contradictions and problems in order to better accomplish their own mission. First of all, on the basis of the existing research on the functions of universities and the mission of scholars in China and the West, this paper revolves around the theme of "functions of modern universities and missions of scholars". Along with the thought of "the transmutation of modern university and scholar's function and the transformation of scholar's identity, the connotation of modern university's function and scholar's mission, and the way to accomplish scholar's mission under the view of modern university's function", This paper defines the functions of modern universities and universities, and combs the history of the development of university functions. Secondly, it summarizes the weakening phenomenon of academic mission in the evolution of modern university function. It includes the weakening of scholars' educational function, the weakening of scholars' political guidance and the weakening of scholars'functional actions. It is shown in the following aspects: unfair education, declining quality of education, decline of academic morality, lack of students' self-worth, lack of academic freedom and lack of innovative spirit. Finally, this study is under the modern university function scholar's mission, the scholar faces such situation, how should complete own mission? Keeping watch of public intellectuals and scholars, strengthening comprehensive quality, constructing mainstream discourse system, providing intellectual support and serving national strategy to fulfill their mission.
