【摘要】：教師是大學(xué)存在和發(fā)展的基礎(chǔ),是大學(xué)最重要的人力資源。教師的質(zhì)量和水平直接影響著大學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)產(chǎn)出和所提供高等教育的質(zhì)量,間接影響著大學(xué)獲取各種社會資源的能力。如何保持教師的質(zhì)量,促進教師的發(fā)展與成長已經(jīng)成為當(dāng)今世界各國大學(xué)關(guān)注的一個焦點。在促進教師發(fā)展方面,美國大學(xué)走在了世界前列。面對高等教育內(nèi)外環(huán)境的變化,美國大學(xué)從19世紀(jì)下半葉開始探索并逐步形成了一系列有效促進大學(xué)教師發(fā)展的成熟模式和成功經(jīng)驗。大學(xué)教師發(fā)展已經(jīng)成為美國大學(xué)在復(fù)雜環(huán)境中應(yīng)對挑戰(zhàn),獲取資源、贏得發(fā)展空間的關(guān)鍵性措施。同時,重視通過開展豐富多樣的大學(xué)教師發(fā)展項目和活動來培養(yǎng)高水平的教師,保持高等教育質(zhì)量,也成為美國大學(xué)能夠聞名于世的重要原因之＋ 本文以辯證唯物主義和歷史唯物主義的方法論為指導(dǎo),綜合運用文獻分析、比較法、典型案例法等研究方法,在充分占有史料的基礎(chǔ)上,仔細考察了美國大學(xué)教師發(fā)展的演變歷程,深入探索了美國大學(xué)教師發(fā)展的動力機制、主要特征和歷史邏輯。 全文由緒論、主體和結(jié)語三部分組成。 緒論部分從選題緣由和研究意義入手,進而對美國大學(xué)教師發(fā)展的文獻和相關(guān)概念進行了綜述和界定,在此基礎(chǔ)上闡述了本文的研究思路、方法和創(chuàng)新之處。 主體部分分為四章。每一章探索了美國大學(xué)教師發(fā)展的一個歷史時期：“學(xué)者時代”(19世紀(jì)下半葉至20世紀(jì)60年代中期)、“教學(xué)者時代”(20世紀(jì)60年代中期至20世紀(jì)80年代)、“發(fā)展者時代”(20世紀(jì)80年代)和“全納時代”(20世紀(jì)90年代至今)。每一章都在充分考察影響大學(xué)教師發(fā)展的高等教育背景因素之后,重點闡述了大學(xué)教師發(fā)展在觀念和實踐上的變化,進而探析了美國大學(xué)教師發(fā)展的階段特征。具體而言,每一章論述的重點又有所不同。第一章在對美國大學(xué)教師學(xué)術(shù)職業(yè)化早期歷程和學(xué)術(shù)休假起源考察的基礎(chǔ)上,確定了美國大學(xué)教師發(fā)展的起源,進而探析了美國大學(xué)教師發(fā)展實踐的早期形態(tài),分析了“學(xué)者時代”美國大學(xué)發(fā)展的專業(yè)發(fā)展取向。第二章探索了美國高等教育危機時代大學(xué)教師發(fā)展興起的原因、動力和過程,重點探索了大學(xué)教師發(fā)展觀念的形成過程和大學(xué)教師發(fā)展實踐的組織化歷程,分析了“教學(xué)者時代”美國大學(xué)教師發(fā)展的教學(xué)發(fā)展取向。第三章重點探析了“發(fā)展者時代”教育質(zhì)量問責(zé)和市場化壓力之下美國大學(xué)教師發(fā)展從單一目標(biāo)(專業(yè)發(fā)展或教學(xué)發(fā)展)向滿足大學(xué)教師職業(yè)發(fā)展需要的多維目標(biāo)(專業(yè)發(fā)展、教學(xué)發(fā)展和個人發(fā)展)的專業(yè)化轉(zhuǎn)變。第四章重點探析了“全納時代”美國大學(xué)教師發(fā)展面對來自高等教育內(nèi)外的多元挑戰(zhàn),不斷擴張與結(jié)盟,開拓新領(lǐng)域,達到全面發(fā)展和繁榮的過程。 結(jié)語部分概括了美國大學(xué)教師發(fā)展百余年歷程中的幾項重要結(jié)論、主要經(jīng)驗與啟示。
[Abstract]:Teachers are the foundation of the existence and development of universities and the most important human resources of universities.The quality and level of teachers directly affect the academic output and the quality of higher education provided by universities, and indirectly affect the ability of universities to obtain various social resources.How to maintain the quality of teachers and promote the development and growth of teachers has become a focus of attention of universities all over the world.In promoting teacher development, American universities are at the forefront of the world.In the face of the changes of the environment inside and outside higher education, American universities began to explore and gradually form a series of mature models and successful experiences to promote the development of university teachers from the second half of the 19th century.The development of university teachers has become a key measure for American universities to meet the challenges, acquire resources and gain development space in complex environments.At the same time, it is an important reason for American universities to become famous for their efforts to cultivate high quality teachers and maintain the quality of higher education through the development of rich and diverse programs and activities for college teachers.Under the guidance of the methodology of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, this paper makes comprehensive use of research methods such as literature analysis, comparative law, typical case law, and so on, on the basis of the full possession of historical data.This paper makes a careful study of the evolution course of American university teachers' development, and probes into the motive mechanism, main characteristics and historical logic of American university teachers' development.The full text consists of three parts: introduction, subject and conclusion.The introduction begins with the reason and significance of the research, and then summarizes and defines the literature and related concepts of the development of American university teachers. On this basis, it expounds the research ideas, methods and innovations of this paper.The main part is divided into four chapters.Each chapter explores a historical period for the development of American university teachers: "the Age of Scholars" from the second half of the 19th century to the mid-1960s, "the era of the Teacherist" from the mid-1960s to the mid-1980s, "Development"In the 1980's and the inclusive era, the 1990 s and the present.After fully investigating the background factors of higher education which affect the development of college teachers, each chapter focuses on the changes in the concept and practice of the development of university teachers, and then probes into the characteristics of the stages of the development of college teachers in the United States.Specifically, the emphasis of each chapter is different.The first chapter, based on the investigation of the early course of academic professionalization and the origin of academic leave, determines the origin of American university teacher development, and then probes into the early form of American university teacher development practice.This paper analyzes the professional development orientation of American universities in the time of Scholars.The second chapter explores the reason, motive force and process of the development of university teachers in the crisis era of higher education in the United States, focusing on the formation process of the concept of college teachers' development and the organizational process of the practice of university teachers' development.This paper analyzes the orientation of teaching development of American university teachers in the era of teachers.The third chapter focuses on the multi-dimensional goal (professional development) from single goal (professional development or teaching development) to meet the needs of college teachers' professional development (professional development) under the pressure of accountability and marketization of educational quality in the "era of development".The professional transformation of teaching and personal development.The fourth chapter focuses on the development of American university teachers in the "inclusive era", facing the multiple challenges from within and outside of higher education, expanding and associating constantly, opening up new fields, and reaching the process of all-round development and prosperity.The conclusion part summarizes several important conclusions, main experiences and revelations in the course of American university teachers' development for more than one hundred years.
