【摘要】：詞匯是語言最基本的組成部分,是學習英語的關鍵。然而,傳統(tǒng)英語詞匯教學存在缺陷。教師存在脫離語境孤立地進行詞匯教學的現象,往往把重點放在學生對詞匯的機械記憶上,這種死記硬背的方式很難激起學生的學習興趣,學生很容易遺忘所學的詞匯。近年來,語境理論備受關注,越來越多的學者開始重視語境理論對英語詞匯教學的影響,目前將這一理論應用于高中和大學的詞匯教學研究較多,應用于初中英語詞匯教學的研究還是很少的。因此本研究以初中二年級學生為研究對象,將語境理論應用于英語詞匯教學中,旨在研究以下三個研究問題:(1)基于語境理論的初中英語詞匯教學能否提高學生運用語境進行詞匯學習的意識?(2)基于語境理論的初中英語詞匯教學能否延長學生的詞匯記憶時間?(3)基于語境理論的初中英語詞匯教學是否更有效?教學實驗為期四個月,采用了對照班的形式。78名初中二年級的學生參加了本次教學實踐,其中實驗班40人采用語境理論進行詞匯教學,控制班38人采用傳統(tǒng)詞匯教學法。問卷調查和訪談的數據分析結果表示,基于語境理論的詞匯教學方式對實驗班學生運用語境進行詞匯學習的意識有積極的影響;實驗班和控制班各自的中測和延時測的分析結果表明,實驗班學生的詞匯長時記憶效果好于控制班,除此之外,訪談結果也進一步表明實驗班學生的詞匯長時記憶效果很好;實驗班和控制班后測成績分析則表明基于語境理論的英語詞匯教學比傳統(tǒng)詞匯教學方法更有效。
