人教版和外研社版高中英語教材的比較研究

【摘要】:教材是教師的教學(xué)工具以及學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)資源,是實現(xiàn)英語課程目標的重要途徑與手段。隨著我國課程改革進程的推進,教材市場上涌現(xiàn)出了各種各樣的教科書。面對紛繁多樣的教材,如何理科學(xué)地評價,分析教材變得尤為重要。在眾多的高中英語課本中,筆者選取了目前山東較為廣泛應(yīng)用的兩套教材——人教版教材(即《普通高中課程標準實驗教科書英語》,人民教育出版社出版)、外研社版教材(即《普通高中課程標準實驗教科書新標準英語》,外語教學(xué)與研究出版社出版)。首先,運用比較法與文獻法對兩版教材在深層結(jié)構(gòu)和表層結(jié)構(gòu)上進行對比,從而分析和總結(jié)了兩套教材各自的優(yōu)缺點。其次,以劉道義的好教材評價標準進行分析和對比,對兩套教材進行客觀科學(xué)的評價,進而為教材的編寫者提出建議。 本論文的主要研究問題為: (1)人教版高中英語教材和外研社版高中英語教材在表層結(jié)構(gòu)上存在哪些相同點和不同點? (2)人教版高中英語教材和外研社版高中英語教材在深層結(jié)構(gòu)上存在哪些相同點和不同點? (3)人教版高中英語教材和外研社版高中英語教材是否符合劉道義的好教材評價理論的要求? 對比分析結(jié)果顯示,人教版教材在表層結(jié)構(gòu)方面,教材的編寫體系符合學(xué)科知識的邏輯順序,內(nèi)容選擇上話題范圍較廣,設(shè)置了廣泛的單元話題以及學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù),并且與學(xué)生的日常生活息息相關(guān)。但人教版在欄目設(shè)置上相較于外研社版教材不夠具有多樣性。人教版教材在深層結(jié)構(gòu)方面,在文化意識上較為注重西方文化的學(xué)習(xí),但在本土文化的學(xué)習(xí)上有所欠缺。相比較而言,外研社版教材在表層結(jié)構(gòu)上,欄目設(shè)置具有多樣性,插圖設(shè)置比較合理符合高中生的身心發(fā)展特點,但在內(nèi)容選擇上內(nèi)容不夠體系化。在深層結(jié)構(gòu)方面,外研社教材在文化意識上中西方文化學(xué)習(xí)平衡兼顧。在語言因素方面單獨設(shè)置了語音學(xué)習(xí)的板塊,有助于提高學(xué)生的語音語調(diào)。但是這兩套教材的詞匯量都偏大,并且重點詞匯的重復(fù)率較低,這不利于學(xué)生的記憶與掌握。研究顯示,兩套教材都基本上符合劉道義關(guān)于好教材評價理論的要求,比如都符合國家法規(guī)、都基本符合新課程標準的要求、基本符合學(xué)生的實際需要、都符合各地教學(xué)改革的實際情況。 本論文共分為五個部分: 第一部分是引言。此部分主要涉及研究問題的提出,研究背景的介紹以及研究的目的和意義包括研究的理論意義和實際意義。 第二部分是文獻綜述。此部分主要論述了教材的定義,闡述了有關(guān)于教材結(jié)構(gòu)理論、國內(nèi)外關(guān)于教材評估的理論以及本論文選用的教材評估理論。為后續(xù)的研究提供了理論基礎(chǔ)和框架支撐。 第三部分是研究的問題和方法。本章節(jié)主要介紹了研究的對象、研究的問題和研究所采用的方法。 第四部分是兩版教材的對比分析。此部分主要論述了通過對比分析,兩版教材在表層結(jié)構(gòu)和深層結(jié)構(gòu)上的異同。其中表層結(jié)構(gòu)包括編寫體系、內(nèi)容選擇、欄目設(shè)置和插圖。深層結(jié)構(gòu)包括教材的情感態(tài)度、文化意識、語言知識和語言技能等。這一部分是文章的主體部分。 第五部分是主要發(fā)現(xiàn)和建議。此部分主要分別論述了人教版高中英語教材和外研社版高中英語教材各自的優(yōu)勢和不足,在此基礎(chǔ)上筆者為教材的編寫者和教材的使用者提出了一些建議。
[Abstract]:Teaching materials are teachers' teaching tools and students' learning resources. It is an important way and means to achieve the goal of English curriculum. With the advancement of curriculum reform in China, various textbooks have emerged in the textbook market. Facing the numerous and diverse textbooks, how to evaluate the science field and analyze the textbook is becoming more and more important. In the English textbook of high school, the author selects two sets of textbooks which are widely used in Shandong - the teaching material of human education (i.e., the English of the standard experimental textbook for high school curriculum standard, the publication of the people's Education Press), the teaching material of the flfp ("the new standard English for the experimental teaching of ordinary high school curriculum standard", the publication of foreign language teaching and Research Press First, using the comparative method and the literature method to compare the two edition of the textbook on the deep structure and the surface structure, then analyze and summarize the merits and demerits of the two sets of textbooks. Secondly, analyze and compare with Liu Daoyi's good textbook evaluation standards, make an objective and scientific evaluation of the two sets of textbooks, and then make suggestions for the writers of the textbooks.
The main research problems in this paper are as follows:
(1) what are the similarities and differences in the surface structure between the high school English textbooks of the PEP edition and the high school English textbooks published by the FP?
(2) what are the similarities and differences in the deep structure of the high school English textbooks of the PEP edition and the high school English textbooks of the press release?
(3) does the high school English textbook of the PEP edition and the high school English textbook of the research society accord with the requirements of Liu Daoyi's good textbook evaluation theory?
The results of the comparative analysis show that in the surface structure of the teaching material, the writing system of the teaching material is in accordance with the logical sequence of the subject knowledge, the selection of the content is wide, a wide range of unit topics and the learning tasks are set up, and it is closely related to the daily life of the students. The material is not diverse enough. In the deep structure, the teaching material of the human education edition pays more attention to the learning of the western culture in the cultural consciousness, but it is deficient in the study of the local culture. In comparison, the teaching material of the press is diversified in the surface structure, and the arrangement of the illustrations is reasonable in conformity with the physical and mental development characteristics of the high school students. But the content selection is not systematized. In the deep structure, the teaching material in the cultural consciousness is balanced in both the western and the Western cultures. In terms of language factors, the phonetic learning plate is set up separately in the language factors. However, the vocabulary of the two sets of teaching materials is large and the key vocabulary is repeated. The rate is low, which is not conducive to the memory and mastery of the students. The study shows that the two sets of textbooks are basically in line with the requirements of Liu Daoyi's theory of good textbook evaluation, such as all in accordance with the national regulations, which are basically in line with the requirements of the new curriculum standards, basically in line with the actual needs of the students, and are in line with the actual situation of the teaching reform in various parts of the country.
This paper is divided into five parts:
The first part is the introduction. This part mainly involves the presentation of the research issues, the introduction of the research background and the purpose and significance of the study, including the theoretical and practical significance of the study.
The second part is the literature review. This part mainly discusses the definition of the textbook, expounds the theory of teaching material structure, the theory of teaching materials evaluation at home and abroad, and the theory of teaching material evaluation used in this paper. It provides the theoretical basis and framework support for the follow-up study.
The third part is the research questions and methods. This chapter mainly introduces the object of study, research questions and methods adopted by the research.
The fourth part is the comparative analysis of the two edition of the textbook. This part mainly discusses the similarities and differences between the surface structure and the deep structure of the two edition of the textbook. The surface structure includes the writing system, the content selection, the column setting and the illustrations. The deep structure includes the emotional state of the textbook, the cultural consciousness, the language knowledge and the language skills. This part is the main part of the article.
The fifth part is the main discovery and suggestion. This part mainly discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the high school English teaching material and the high school English textbook of the foreign trade agency. On the basis of this, the author puts forward some suggestions for the writer and the user of the textbook.
