[Abstract]:In 2016, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council jointly issued the opinions on strengthening and improving the Construction of Teaching Materials in Primary and Middle Schools under the New situation, which made it clear from the system level that the construction of teaching materials was the state's prerogative. On July 4, 2017, The State Teaching Materials Committee was formally established. The director of the organization is Liu Yandong, vice premier of the State Council, and the deputy director is Chen Bao-sheng, Minister of Education, and the Deputy Ministry of propaganda of the Central Committee.
