影子教育研究中的測(cè)量問(wèn)題:TIMSS和PISA面臨的挑戰(zhàn)和困難

【摘要】:課外補(bǔ)習(xí)因其課程仿效正規(guī)教育體系而被喻為影子教育,越來(lái)越多的學(xué)者開(kāi)始關(guān)注課外補(bǔ)習(xí)的規(guī)模和影響。盡管課外補(bǔ)習(xí)在世界范圍內(nèi)顯著擴(kuò)張、影響深遠(yuǎn),但影子教育研究仍然面臨研究方法和概念界定的挑戰(zhàn)。本研究重點(diǎn)關(guān)注來(lái)自國(guó)際數(shù)學(xué)和科學(xué)趨勢(shì)比較項(xiàng)目(TIMSS)和國(guó)際學(xué)生能力評(píng)估項(xiàng)目(PISA)中影子教育相關(guān)數(shù)據(jù)的分析。這類分析面臨的首要問(wèn)題來(lái)源于對(duì)影子教育的界定及研究關(guān)注點(diǎn)的設(shè)定,面臨的挑戰(zhàn)來(lái)自于國(guó)際大規(guī)模評(píng)估項(xiàng)目問(wèn)卷中相關(guān)問(wèn)題對(duì)影子教育的措辭以及各國(guó)問(wèn)卷中對(duì)這些用詞的翻譯。本研究發(fā)現(xiàn),有一部分影子教育的文章采用了有問(wèn)題的數(shù)據(jù),得出了誤導(dǎo)性的研究結(jié)論。盡管研究方法日漸成熟,但為了達(dá)到對(duì)影子教育的本質(zhì)及意義的充分理解,國(guó)際大規(guī)模項(xiàng)目評(píng)估中關(guān)于影子教育問(wèn)題的設(shè)置仍然需要進(jìn)一步改進(jìn)。
[Abstract]:Extracurricular tutoring is regarded as shadow education because of its curriculum imitating the formal education system. More and more scholars begin to pay attention to the scale and influence of extracurricular tutoring. However, shadow education research still faces the challenge of defining research methods and concepts. This study focuses on the International Mathematical and Scientific Trends comparison Project (TIMSS) and the International Student competency Assessment Project (PISAs). The most important problem of this kind of analysis comes from the definition of shadow education and the setting of research concern. The challenge lies in the wording of shadow education in the questionnaire of the International Large-scale Assessment Project and the translation of these words in the questionnaire of various countries. Some of the articles on shadow education use questionable data and draw misleading conclusions. Although the research methods are becoming more and more mature, in order to achieve a full understanding of the nature and significance of shadow education. The setting of shadow education in international large-scale project evaluation still needs to be further improved.
