語料庫資源在初中英語詞匯教學(xué)中的應(yīng)用

【摘要】:眾所周知的是,詞匯是語言學(xué)習(xí)的奠基石。在詞匯量的要求上,上海制定的《上海市中小學(xué)英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》要求全體初中畢業(yè)的學(xué)生的詞匯水平需達到三級目標(biāo),即1800-2100的詞匯量。因此詞匯教學(xué)在英語語言的教學(xué)中是非常重要的。但是費時低效一直是詞匯教學(xué)的一個老大難問題,教師在教學(xué)時運用傳統(tǒng)方法,教學(xué)手段枯燥乏味,以致于學(xué)生喪失學(xué)習(xí)動力與學(xué)習(xí)興趣,導(dǎo)致學(xué)習(xí)成績下降甚至對英語學(xué)科產(chǎn)生抵觸情緒,引起惡性循環(huán)。因此,提高詞匯教學(xué)的效率便成為當(dāng)今英語教育界的一個熱點話題。隨著時代和技術(shù)的不斷發(fā)展,語料庫技術(shù)開始走進英語教育界的視野。語料庫以其容量大、語料真實開始逐漸運用到英語教學(xué)當(dāng)中。因此本研究將探討基于語料庫的數(shù)據(jù)驅(qū)動教學(xué)在初中英語詞匯教學(xué)中的應(yīng)用。根據(jù)上述問題筆者提出研究假設(shè):相比較于傳統(tǒng)詞匯教學(xué)法,利用語料庫的數(shù)據(jù)驅(qū)動學(xué)習(xí)教學(xué)法能夠顯著提高學(xué)生的詞匯學(xué)習(xí)效果。在研究過程中,筆者主要運用了問卷調(diào)查法,訪談法以及實驗法。本研究發(fā)現(xiàn)學(xué)生以及教師對于基于語料庫的詞匯教學(xué)持積極正面的態(tài)度,他們樂于使用這種新方法進行詞匯教學(xué)。在實驗法中,筆者隨機選取兩個班級作為實驗班與對照班,對照班按照傳統(tǒng)方法教學(xué),實驗班按照語料庫教學(xué)法進行教學(xué),通過對實驗前的前測以及實驗后的后測成績由SPSS 20.0進行數(shù)據(jù)分析后發(fā)現(xiàn)在經(jīng)過基于語料庫資源的數(shù)據(jù)驅(qū)動詞匯教學(xué)后,實驗班的學(xué)生的成績有大幅提高。研究表明,基于語料庫資源的數(shù)據(jù)驅(qū)動詞匯教學(xué)能夠顯著提高學(xué)生的詞匯學(xué)習(xí)效果,但是這個方法的推廣仍需要得到教育部門的支持以及教師本身專業(yè)理論知識的提高。
[Abstract]:It is well known that vocabulary is the cornerstone of language learning. In terms of vocabulary requirements, Shanghai's English Curriculum Standard for Primary and Middle Schools requires that the vocabulary level of all the students graduating from junior high school should reach the third-level goal, I. e., the vocabulary of 1800-2100. Therefore, vocabulary teaching is very important in English language teaching. However, time-consuming and inefficient teaching has always been an old and difficult problem in vocabulary teaching. Teachers use traditional methods in teaching, and teaching means are dull and boring, resulting in students losing their motivation and interest in learning. It leads to the decline of academic achievement and even to the antagonism of English, which leads to a vicious circle. Therefore, improving the efficiency of vocabulary teaching has become a hot topic in the field of English education. With the development of time and technology, corpus technology has come into the field of English education. Because of its large capacity, corpus is gradually used in English teaching. Therefore, this study will explore the application of corpus-based data-driven teaching in junior high school English vocabulary teaching. According to the above questions, the author puts forward the research hypothesis: compared with the traditional vocabulary teaching method, the data-driven learning method based on corpus can significantly improve the students' vocabulary learning effect. In the course of the research, the author mainly used questionnaire, interview and experiment. The present study finds that students and teachers have a positive attitude towards corpus-based vocabulary teaching and they are happy to use this new method in vocabulary teaching. In the experimental method, the author randomly selects two classes as the experimental class and the control class, the control class teaching according to the traditional method, the experimental class teaching according to the corpus teaching method. Through the data analysis of pre-test before experiment and post-test by SPSS 20.0, it is found that after data-driven vocabulary teaching based on corpus resources, the scores of students in experimental class have been greatly improved. The research shows that the data-driven vocabulary teaching based on corpus resources can significantly improve the students' vocabulary learning effect, but the promotion of this method still needs the support of the education department and the improvement of teachers' professional theory knowledge.
