【摘要】:教材在語言教學中發(fā)揮著關鍵作用,它不僅可以為學習者提供大量語言輸入,而且能為課堂實踐活動提供切實的參考。閱讀在日常英語教學和考試中所占比重最大,同時提高學生的英語閱讀能力也一直是英語教學的重點,所以閱讀板塊是英語教材的重要組成部分。然而,在實際教學中,教師如果對閱讀板塊的解讀出現(xiàn)偏頗,缺乏有效的閱讀訓練,就會使教學效果大打折扣,因而對教材的閱讀板塊進行評價的意義顯而易見。本文試圖對江蘇省使用的《牛津高中英語》教材的閱讀板塊進行靜態(tài)評價和動態(tài)評價,從而回答如下三個研究問題:1)《牛津高中英語》教材閱讀板塊的主要內(nèi)容和功能是什么?是否符合《普通高中英語課程標準(實驗)》的要求? 2)閱讀板塊與江蘇師生的需求的契合度如何? 3)閱讀板塊有何特點?如果繼續(xù)使用,該板塊應該作哪些改進?本文在回顧了教材閱讀板塊的編寫理論基礎與教材評價的相關研究后,基于Cunningsworth、Grant、程曉棠等的教材評價方法,提出了對《牛津高中英語》的閱讀板塊的評價模式。具體地講,本研究先通過文本分析的方法對教材的閱讀板塊進行靜態(tài)評價,探究其與高中英語課標的切合度:再通過問卷調(diào)查和訪談的方式對該教材在江蘇的使用情況進行動態(tài)評價,采用微軟Excel軟件對所收集的數(shù)據(jù)進行了量化分析,以探究其與江蘇師生需求的切合度以及探究其特點及仍可改進提升之處。研究發(fā)現(xiàn):1)《牛津高中英語》的閱讀板塊主要由閱讀材料與閱讀活動兩部分組成,是英語教學的重點;該板塊基本符合高中英語課標的基本要求。2)閱讀板塊在很大程度上滿足江蘇師生的教學需求。3)閱讀板塊還具備以下特點:話題和體裁多樣化、語言具有真實性、注重語言技能的綜合訓練、每個單元提供相對應的閱讀策略等等。但是,在話題的時代性、設問層次、學生批判性思維和跨文化意識培養(yǎng)等方面仍有欠缺,有待進一步的改進與提升。根據(jù)研究結(jié)果,本文還對教材編者提出了相應的建議。編者應該考慮增加英文經(jīng)典作品,及時更新閱讀材料、選取富有吸引力的文本,設計多樣化的閱讀活動和多層次的問題,注重培養(yǎng)學生批判性思維和跨文化意識等。
[Abstract]:Teaching materials play a key role in language teaching. It can not only provide a large amount of language input for the learners, but also provide practical reference for the classroom practice. Reading is the most important part of the daily English teaching and examination. At the same time, improving students' English reading ability has always been the focus of English teaching, so the reading plate is used. It is an important part of English teaching materials. However, in the actual teaching, if teachers are biased in reading the reading plate and lack effective reading training, the teaching effect will be discounted. Therefore, the significance of evaluating the reading plate of the textbooks is obvious. This article tries to use "Oxford high school English" in Jiangsu province. The reading plate carries out static evaluation and dynamic evaluation to answer the following three research questions: 1) what are the main contents and functions of the reading plate of Oxford high school English teaching material? Is it consistent with the requirements of the standard (Experiment) of the ordinary high school English Course (Experiment)? 2) how is the correspondence between the reading plate and the needs of the teachers and students in Jiangsu? 3) the reading plate has What are the characteristics? What improvements should be made if we continue to use this plate? After reviewing the relevant research on the theoretical basis and evaluation of textbooks for reading materials, based on the evaluation methods of Cunningsworth, Grant, Cheng Xiaotang and so on, the evaluation model of the reading plate of "Oxford high school English" is put forward. Through the method of text analysis, this paper makes a static evaluation on the reading plate of the textbook, and explores the consistency between the textbook and the high school English Curriculum Standard: through the questionnaire survey and interview, the paper makes a dynamic evaluation on the use of the textbook in Jiangsu, and uses Microsoft Excel software to carry out quantitative analysis of the data collected in order to explore its and Jiangsu division. It is found that the reading plate of "Oxford high school English >" is mainly composed of two parts of reading materials and reading activities, which is the focus of English teaching; the plate is basically in accordance with the basic requirements of the high school English curriculum standard.2) the reading plate meets the Jiangsu division to a great extent. The teaching needs of the students.3) the reading plate has the following characteristics: the variety of topics and genres, the authenticity of the language, the comprehensive training of language skills, the corresponding reading strategies for each unit, and so on. However, there are still deficiencies in the times, the level of questions, the critical thinking and the cultivation of cross-cultural awareness in the topics. Further improvement and promotion. According to the results of the study, the author also puts forward some suggestions for the editor of the textbook. The editor should consider increasing English classics, update the reading materials in time, select attractive text, design diversified reading activities and multi-level questions, and pay attention to cultivating students' critical thinking and cross-cultural meaning.
