【摘要】:隨著基礎(chǔ)教育改革實(shí)施和外語外語教學(xué)發(fā)展,各種版本的初中英語教材紛紛出版供各類中學(xué)選擇。面對不同教材,教師會(huì)碰到難以取舍的問題。此外,在使用某一種教師的過程中教師也會(huì)對教材內(nèi)容進(jìn)行修改、替換、取舍或調(diào)整、以便有針對性地幫助學(xué)生更有效地學(xué)好英語,由此可見對教材進(jìn)行系統(tǒng)行評(píng)價(jià)就十分必要。教材評(píng)價(jià)既可以向教材編寫者提供教材改進(jìn)意見,也可以向教育行政部門在選擇教材時(shí)提供更有說服力的依據(jù)。全套新版義務(wù)教育英語教科書Go For It共五冊(教育部2012、2013年審定),是根據(jù)《九年義務(wù)教育全日制初級(jí)中學(xué)英語教學(xué)大綱(試用修訂版)》和《義務(wù)教育英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》(2011年版)的精神,在2002年開始使用的人民教育出版社和美國Thomson Learning出版集團(tuán)合編的《義務(wù)教育課程實(shí)驗(yàn)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)教科書英語》Go For It的基礎(chǔ)上修訂而成的。新教材2012年秋季在初一開始使用,2015年夏季全套教材替換完成。本套教材在全國范圍內(nèi)廣泛使用,所以對其質(zhì)量進(jìn)行評(píng)價(jià)是很有價(jià)值的。本研究參照國內(nèi)外外語教材評(píng)價(jià)理論和標(biāo)準(zhǔn),根據(jù)教材的功能和英語學(xué)科的特點(diǎn),以教育部《義務(wù)教育英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》(2011年版)為主要依據(jù),從五個(gè)方面確立了十個(gè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)對新教材進(jìn)行了評(píng)價(jià),并在此基礎(chǔ)上整理和總結(jié)相關(guān)參考文獻(xiàn)及信息資料、提出問題、編寫制定調(diào)查問卷內(nèi)容、以問卷形式對老師及學(xué)生進(jìn)行調(diào)研。通過問卷調(diào)查和評(píng)價(jià),本研究得出新版義務(wù)教育英語教科書Go For It有一些非常突出的優(yōu)點(diǎn):新教材不僅反映了外語教學(xué)的“工具性”,同時(shí)兼具“人文性”;新教材倡導(dǎo)采用話題、功能、結(jié)構(gòu)、任務(wù)相結(jié)合的任務(wù)型教學(xué)方法,教學(xué)方法先進(jìn);新教材內(nèi)容貼近學(xué)生、貼近生活、貼近時(shí)代,具有廣泛性、思想性和時(shí)代性;新教材的編排十分靈活;新教材評(píng)價(jià)內(nèi)容和方式多樣,充分體現(xiàn)了“以人為本”和“以學(xué)生為主體”,突出了學(xué)生在評(píng)價(jià)中的主體地位。新教材主要不足之處表現(xiàn)在:新教材中城市生活內(nèi)容較多,與農(nóng)村學(xué)生生活相差比較遠(yuǎn);新教材配套資料比較少,有待于進(jìn)一步補(bǔ)充和完善。新教材詞匯量和閱讀量偏大,教學(xué)任務(wù)偏重,一般學(xué)校難以完成。本研究還對新教材的使用提出了兩點(diǎn)意見,包括科學(xué)靈活處理教材內(nèi)容(添加、刪減、修改或替換、調(diào)整)、改進(jìn)和優(yōu)化教學(xué)方法。本研究的目的是供教材使用者在選擇和使用教材、編寫者推廣教材時(shí)提供參考依據(jù),幫助人們對新教材的質(zhì)量做出相對客觀、科學(xué)的判斷。
[Abstract]:With the implementation of basic education reform and the development of foreign language teaching, various versions of junior high school English textbooks have been published for all kinds of middle schools to choose from.In the face of different teaching materials, teachers will encounter problems that are difficult to choose.In addition, in the process of using a certain kind of teacher, the teacher will modify, replace, choose or adjust the content of the textbook in order to help students learn English more effectively.Thus, it is necessary to evaluate the teaching materials systematically.The evaluation of teaching materials can not only provide the textbook writers with advice on the improvement of teaching materials, but also provide a more convincing basis for the educational administrative departments to choose the teaching materials.Go For it, a full set of new compulsory education English textbooks in five volumes (approved by the Ministry of Education in 2012 and 2013), is based on the English syllabus (trial revision) for full-time junior middle schools for nine-year compulsory education and the English Curriculum Standards for compulsory EducationThe spirit of (2011 edition),It was revised on the basis of go For it, which was compiled by the people's Education Publishing House and Thomson Learning Publishing Group in 2002.The new textbook began to be used in the first day of 2012, and the complete set of teaching materials was replaced in summer 2015.This set of textbooks is widely used all over the country, so it is very valuable to evaluate its quality.According to the evaluation theories and standards of foreign language teaching materials at home and abroad, and according to the functions of the textbooks and the characteristics of English subjects, this study is mainly based on the English Curriculum Standards for compulsory Education (2011 edition) of the Ministry of Education.Ten standards were established to evaluate the new textbook from five aspects, and on the basis of this, related references and information materials were sorted out and summarized, questions were raised, questionnaire contents were compiled, and teachers and students were investigated in the form of questionnaires.Through questionnaire survey and evaluation, this study concludes that the new edition of go For it has some outstanding advantages: the new textbook not only reflects the "tool" of foreign language teaching, but also has "humanity";The new teaching material advocates the use of task-based teaching method combining topic, function, structure and task, and the advanced teaching method, the content of the new textbook is close to students, close to life, close to the times, and it is extensive, ideological and contemporary.The arrangement of the new textbook is very flexible, and the contents and ways of the evaluation of the new textbook are various, which fully reflects the "people-oriented" and "student-oriented", and highlights the main position of the students in the evaluation.The main shortcomings of the new textbooks are: the content of urban life in the new textbooks is more than that of the rural students, and the new textbooks have less supporting materials, which need to be further supplemented and improved.The vocabulary and reading of the new textbooks are too large and the teaching tasks are too heavy to be completed in general schools.This study also puts forward two suggestions on the use of new teaching materials, including scientific and flexible processing of teaching materials (add, delete, modify or replace, adjust, improve and optimize teaching methods.The purpose of this study is to provide a reference for the users to choose and use the textbook, and to help the people to make a relatively objective and scientific judgment on the quality of the new textbook.
