高中生英語詞匯學(xué)習(xí)策略調(diào)查研究

【摘要】: 目前我國(guó)在英語詞匯教學(xué)研究中,針對(duì)不同層次的英語學(xué)習(xí)者詞匯學(xué)習(xí)策略的研究不足,尤其是對(duì)高中生英語詞匯學(xué)習(xí)策略的研究較少而且也不系統(tǒng)。本論文以此為切入點(diǎn),根據(jù)Gu和Johnson (1996)、Oxford (1990)和Horwitz(1987)等的理論或觀點(diǎn),采用調(diào)查問卷、訪談、詞匯測(cè)試等研究工具,對(duì)長(zhǎng)春市某中學(xué)144名高中生英語詞匯學(xué)習(xí)策略的選擇與使用情況進(jìn)行了調(diào)查研究,從而揭示高中生對(duì)英語詞匯學(xué)習(xí)策略的態(tài)度、觀念和策略使用的性別異同性等方面的情況。本論文分為五個(gè)部分。第一部分,簡(jiǎn)要陳述研究背景,本研究的目的、意義和價(jià)值,并簡(jiǎn)要介紹本論文的結(jié)構(gòu)。第二部分回顧了相關(guān)的詞匯學(xué)習(xí)策略的定義和分類方面的研究成果,特別介紹了機(jī)械式詞匯學(xué)習(xí)策略;此外,還概述了一些影響詞匯學(xué)習(xí)策略選擇的因素。第三部分介紹了本次研究的方法及在吉林省長(zhǎng)春市某個(gè)中學(xué)采集數(shù)據(jù)的過程。第四部分通過數(shù)據(jù)分析,探討了高中生對(duì)英語詞匯學(xué)習(xí)策略的態(tài)度以及選擇情況,揭示了影響學(xué)生詞匯學(xué)習(xí)策略選擇的一些因素,如學(xué)習(xí)策略觀念、態(tài)度、性別及動(dòng)機(jī)等。最后在第五部分中,總結(jié)了在中國(guó)的教學(xué)與學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境下高中生英語詞匯學(xué)習(xí)策略的使用情況。本研究根據(jù)調(diào)查問卷、訪談收集的數(shù)據(jù)及相關(guān)信息,分析后發(fā)現(xiàn)高中生使用了多種多樣的詞匯學(xué)習(xí)策略,而機(jī)械式學(xué)習(xí)策略是最常用的一種。其主要原因是為了應(yīng)付考試。另外,性別差異對(duì)于詞匯學(xué)習(xí)策略也有選擇性的影響。根據(jù)相關(guān)數(shù)據(jù)分析得出的結(jié)論不僅可以為今后進(jìn)一步深入地研究英語詞匯學(xué)習(xí)策略奠定基礎(chǔ),而且能為高中英語教學(xué)提供有益的建議與幫助。教師應(yīng)該精心挑選合適的學(xué)習(xí)策略組織英語教學(xué),同時(shí)注重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)自我管理的能力。
[Abstract]:At present, there is a lack of research on vocabulary learning strategies of English learners at different levels in our country, especially for senior high school students.Based on the theories and viewpoints of Gu and Johnson 1996 / Oxford / 1990 and Horwitz / 1987), this paper uses questionnaire, interview, vocabulary testing and other research tools.This paper investigates the choice and use of English vocabulary learning strategies among 144 senior high school students in a middle school in Changchun, so as to reveal their attitudes towards English vocabulary learning strategies, gender similarities and differences in concepts and use of strategies, and so on.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part briefly describes the research background, the purpose, significance and value of this study, and briefly introduces the structure of this paper.The second part reviews the definition and classification of vocabulary learning strategies, especially introduces the mechanical vocabulary learning strategies, and summarizes some factors that affect the choice of vocabulary learning strategies.The third part introduces the method of this study and the process of collecting data in a middle school in Changchun, Jilin Province.The fourth part discusses the attitude and choice of senior high school students towards English vocabulary learning strategies through data analysis, and reveals some factors that affect students' choice of vocabulary learning strategies, such as learning strategy concept, attitude, gender and motivation.Finally, in the fifth part, the author summarizes the use of English vocabulary learning strategies of senior high school students in Chinese teaching and learning environment.According to the questionnaire, the data collected by interviews and related information, it is found that senior high school students use a variety of vocabulary learning strategies, and mechanical learning strategies are the most commonly used.The main reason is to prepare for the exam.In addition, gender differences have a selective effect on vocabulary learning strategies.The conclusion obtained from the analysis of relevant data can not only lay the foundation for further study on vocabulary learning strategies in the future, but also provide useful advice and help for English teaching in senior high school.Teachers should carefully select appropriate learning strategies to organize English teaching, and pay attention to cultivating students' ability of self-management in autonomous learning.
