《喧嘩與騷動》隱含核心人物之敘事分析

威廉·?思{是美國二十世紀的文壇巨匠,其代表作《喧嘩與騷動》運用多種現代主義文學創(chuàng)作手法及實驗性藝術技巧,在文學界意義重大影響深遠。評論界較為集中地針對小說的主題思想、人物形象以及多種實驗性方法等方面有深入廣泛的研究,然而從敘事策略角度出發(fā)研究作品中凱蒂的形象塑造還較為鮮見。本論文運用熱拉爾·熱奈特的敘事學理論,從敘事時間、聚焦以及敘述者三個方面對《喧嘩與騷動》進行探索性分析,這種獨特的敘事方式導致獨特的人物塑造方式,看似逐漸消失的人物凱蒂,實為各個敘述者的指向中心,人物由此呈現多元意義,形成敘事多元的美學效果,深化了小說主題,展現了美國南部貴族階級的衰落及現代人類發(fā)展的多元性。本論文為更深刻理解小說人物隱含意義提供了新的視角。
