莎士比亞四部悲劇中的死亡研究

本文主要考察莎士比亞《哈姆雷特》、《奧賽羅》、《李爾王》、《麥克白斯》等四部悲劇中的死亡形態(tài)、意象、主題及其哲學(xué)意義。通過文本分析,本文試圖揭示在莎士比亞的時(shí)代,死亡決定著生命的存在意義、社會(huì)價(jià)值體系和行為方式。在根本上,死亡是一種文化現(xiàn)象,關(guān)注死亡就是關(guān)注生命本身。死亡問題和生命問題是同一的,死亡恐懼和“把握現(xiàn)在”是這一論題的兩面。本論文包括四章。第一章簡要提出了論文研究的目的、價(jià)值、意義和方法。第二章歷時(shí)性地追述了古代歐洲的死亡觀念,莎士比亞顯然繼承性的表現(xiàn)了這些繁雜的、似乎矛盾的死亡觀念,尤其是基督教的死亡觀念及其意象。第三章集中考察莎士比亞四部悲劇中死亡形態(tài)、意象、主題及其哲學(xué)意義。哈姆雷特關(guān)于“存在”與“死亡”的哲學(xué)思考、李爾王對人的“本真屬性”的認(rèn)識(shí)、麥克白斯對死亡后寧靜的揭示,奧賽羅通過死亡凈化自身的罪惡,死亡在此顯現(xiàn)出不同的生命存在的實(shí)踐意義。在莎士比亞四部悲劇中,死亡決定著生命的存在意義、社會(huì)價(jià)值體系和行為方式。哈姆萊特、奧塞羅等表現(xiàn)出自殺的意愿,而麥克白斯、李爾王卻拒絕自殺,吁求高貴的死亡,埃德加則肯定了生命的美好意義;這些都再現(xiàn)了劇中人物身上迥然差異的死亡態(tài)度和行...
