西方動物小說中動物與人類關(guān)系的生態(tài)批評解讀

文學(xué)作品里不乏形形色色的動物形象,而在生態(tài)危機愈演愈烈已經(jīng)嚴重威脅到人類生活的今天,環(huán)保和有關(guān)動物保護的主題越來越受到西方學(xué)術(shù)界關(guān)注。于十九世紀七十年代初露端倪的生態(tài)批評順應(yīng)時代潮流,正發(fā)展成后現(xiàn)代的主流文學(xué),它提倡從人類文化中挖掘生態(tài)破壞的思想根源,從而找到解決生態(tài)危機的真正路子,為人類與自然和諧共處提供理論支持。本文從西方經(jīng)典動物小說中動物形象與人類關(guān)系入手,試用生態(tài)批評理論解讀文學(xué)作品中動物與人類從弱到強,從疏離到緊密的復(fù)雜關(guān)系,并揭示出受多種文學(xué)思潮影響下兩者關(guān)系的發(fā)展變化過程,從中得出動物形象與人類共存,也以其與自然緊密聯(lián)系的天性制約警示人類,如果繼續(xù)按人類中心主義生存與生態(tài)理論背道而馳,必將受到大自然的報復(fù)。本論文由五部分構(gòu)成。第一部分詳細闡釋了生態(tài)批評理論的產(chǎn)生,發(fā)展及在文學(xué)領(lǐng)域的表現(xiàn)及最新發(fā)展狀況,其中主要論述非人類中心主義理論。第二部分對動物小說發(fā)展歷史做梳理,介紹對動物形象與人類關(guān)系這一主題的研究狀況,試圖梳理出一條明晰的線索說明兩者相依存的緊密關(guān)系,闡述本文的創(chuàng)新意義。第三,四部分是本文的主體部分,以前現(xiàn)代主義動物小說和現(xiàn)代動物小說為界,選取西方動物小說中典型的動...
