小說(shuō)中的對(duì)白對(duì)體現(xiàn)人物言語(yǔ)行為和性格特點(diǎn)起著舉足輕重的作用。一部文學(xué)作品之所以歷久彌新成為經(jīng)典,是因?yàn)樽髌分腥宋锿怀龅难哉Z(yǔ)行為和鮮活的性格特點(diǎn)能夠打動(dòng)一代又一代的讀者。英國(guó)女作家簡(jiǎn)·奧斯汀經(jīng)典小說(shuō)《傲慢與偏見(jiàn)》便是這樣的作品。在小說(shuō)中,人物的日常交際主要是通過(guò)對(duì)白實(shí)現(xiàn)的,所以研究這部作品中人物的對(duì)白十分必要。從不勝枚舉的文學(xué)評(píng)論和文學(xué)研究中,我們可以看出小說(shuō)《傲慢與偏見(jiàn)》的文學(xué)價(jià)值,但從語(yǔ)用學(xué)角度分析該作品的研究則并不多見(jiàn)。本文試圖用Grice的會(huì)話(huà)含義理論解析這部小說(shuō)中人物對(duì)白的暗含之意,從而進(jìn)一步推導(dǎo)出小說(shuō)中各色人物的性格和作家的語(yǔ)言風(fēng)格,同時(shí)也為文學(xué)作品的研究提供一種新的研究方向。簡(jiǎn)·奧斯汀的語(yǔ)言機(jī)智、幽默,又充滿(mǎn)諷刺。她獨(dú)特的語(yǔ)言特點(diǎn)是通過(guò)小說(shuō)中大量人物對(duì)白展現(xiàn)出來(lái)的。小說(shuō)人物在交際對(duì)話(huà)過(guò)程中或運(yùn)用遵守或違反合作原則以產(chǎn)生豐富的語(yǔ)用含義。在推導(dǎo)這一含義的過(guò)程中,人物的性格和作家的風(fēng)格清晰地呈現(xiàn)在讀者面前。本文推導(dǎo)小說(shuō)中人物對(duì)白所運(yùn)用的語(yǔ)用學(xué)理論是英國(guó)語(yǔ)言哲學(xué)家Grice的會(huì)話(huà)含義理論。這一理論能夠?qū)?huì)話(huà)中的深層含義或者說(shuō)是暗含之意通過(guò)語(yǔ)用推理揭示出來(lái),使讀者能夠明白一些說(shuō)話(huà)者未...
