馬丁路德金布道文的文體分析

馬丁路德金是本世紀最有影響里的人物之一。他被稱為“黑人之音”,而且在1964年獲得諾貝爾和平獎此殊榮。他是在文學上很有造詣的一名學者,幾乎每篇布道文都寫得很好,都是經過遣詞造句和反復修改過的,是我們學習語言很好的語料。學習他的寫作方法可以使我們文筆生輝,談吐生色。這項研究的目的在于揭示馬丁是如何繼承并發(fā)展黑人布道的傳統(tǒng)的。風格對牧師來說是打動人心的一種手段,所以深入研究馬丁布道文的風格是很有必要的,解釋了為何他的布道文具有非凡的說服力。這項研究的意義在于以下三點。第一點,為了發(fā)現馬丁布道文的語言風格、修長特點和語篇結構特色。研究表明馬丁布道文具有非凡說服力的其中一個原因就是他平實,生動的語言。在布道文中,他用具體形象的語言描述了當時黑人悲慘的生活狀況,鞭策種族歧視,種族隔離這些社會問題,并且表達了對運動勝利的信心。使我們對當時黑人的生活狀況有了非常具體的了解。第二點,馬丁的布道文是英語教學很好的素材。平實的語言,生動的描述,對聽眾強大的感染力構成他布道文的文體特色。通過修辭,句法,語篇等方面的分析,使得讀者能夠培養(yǎng)適當運用語言的能力，更好的欣賞這種文體特色。第三點,這項研究運用了文體學...
