功能對(duì)等理論是奈達(dá)翻譯理論的核心,是我國(guó)最早引進(jìn)、研究最多的西方翻譯理論之一。該理論對(duì)一直受忽視的譯文讀者給予了更多重視,打破了我國(guó)傳統(tǒng)譯論中從靜態(tài)角度評(píng)析譯文好壞的局面,對(duì)指導(dǎo)英漢、漢英翻譯實(shí)踐具有不可估量的作用。本論文試圖將功能對(duì)等理論與非虛構(gòu)文學(xué)作品翻譯相結(jié)合,以筆者親身參與翻譯的紐約時(shí)報(bào)暢銷(xiāo)書(shū)作家杰夫·奧萊利的非虛構(gòu)小說(shuō)《百夫長(zhǎng)的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)藝術(shù)》為例,從句型重構(gòu)、熟語(yǔ)翻譯、隱性信息轉(zhuǎn)為顯性信息和修辭翻譯四個(gè)方面入手,證明功能對(duì)等理論對(duì)指導(dǎo)英漢翻譯實(shí)踐,特別是非虛構(gòu)小說(shuō)漢譯具有重要價(jià)值。本論文一共包括五個(gè)章節(jié)：第一章引言部分交代了論文的研究目的和組織結(jié)構(gòu)。第二章圍繞《百夫長(zhǎng)的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)藝術(shù)》的原文和譯文情況展開(kāi),逐一介紹了該書(shū)的內(nèi)容提要、作者簡(jiǎn)介、文學(xué)體裁和翻譯情況,為下文條分縷析地研究譯本做好鋪墊。第三章是對(duì)奈達(dá)功能對(duì)等理論的完整描述。筆者首先對(duì)奈達(dá)本人進(jìn)行了簡(jiǎn)要介紹,隨后對(duì)功能對(duì)等理論作出全景綜述,包括翻譯對(duì)等的起源追溯,奈達(dá)功能對(duì)等理論的發(fā)展歷程、科學(xué)基礎(chǔ)和價(jià)值描述等。第四章對(duì)《百夫長(zhǎng)的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)藝術(shù)》之中譯本進(jìn)行個(gè)案研究,詳盡說(shuō)明譯者如何將奈達(dá)功能對(duì)等理論運(yùn)用于該書(shū)的翻譯,特別是從句型重構(gòu)...
