路易絲·厄德里克(Louise Erdrich,1954-)是印第安文學(xué)復(fù)興運(yùn)動(dòng)的第二代代表作家,在美國(guó)文壇發(fā)揮著舉足輕重的作用,她對(duì)美國(guó)少數(shù)族裔文學(xué)的貢獻(xiàn)在學(xué)術(shù)界格外引人注目,并獲得過無數(shù)次像是全國(guó)書評(píng)家協(xié)會(huì)獎(jiǎng)之類的文學(xué)大獎(jiǎng),以及6次歐·亨利短篇小說獎(jiǎng),其殊榮堪比對(duì)其影響很深的美國(guó)作家威廉·?思{。路易絲·厄德里克的父親是德裔美國(guó)人,母親有齊佩瓦和法國(guó)血統(tǒng)。這種雙重身份的特殊性使得其作品具有豐富性和復(fù)雜性。一方面,作為一個(gè)深受傳統(tǒng)印第安文化影響的女性作家,小說中很自然的流露出女性和自然之間的緊密聯(lián)系;另外一方面,作為一個(gè)深受雙重文化影響的作家,小說中又反映出了印第安文化和白人文化之間的沖突和關(guān)聯(lián)。作為當(dāng)代最多產(chǎn)的印第安作家之一,路易絲·厄德里克的作品受到了批評(píng)界的廣泛關(guān)注。在其多部長(zhǎng)篇小說中,《愛藥》(Love Medicine 1984)是其最受評(píng)論界關(guān)注的代表作之一。因此本文將透過生態(tài)批評(píng)視野解讀該小說,以發(fā)掘其生態(tài)內(nèi)涵。具體來說,筆者試圖透過生態(tài)女性主義和環(huán)境公正兩種批評(píng)方法對(duì)《愛藥》進(jìn)行闡釋,并揭示該作品中所體現(xiàn)的特有的生態(tài)觀以及環(huán)境與種族經(jīng)驗(yàn)之間的關(guān)系,希望能以此豐富對(duì)路易...
