【摘要】:詹姆斯·希爾頓以第一次世界大戰(zhàn)后的經(jīng)濟危機和混亂的社會秩序為背景,創(chuàng)造了他的小說《消失的地平線》,借以表達他對當時西方文明的不滿和擔憂。他將西方文明成功地融入到了中國的香格里拉,使其既具有中國的傳統(tǒng)文化色彩,又兼具現(xiàn)代西方文明的成果。希爾頓創(chuàng)造了“香格里拉”一詞,并使后來人發(fā)起了尋找香格里拉的熱潮。在這部小說中,作者通過主人公康威的敘述,給人們呈現(xiàn)出了一個遙遠神秘、風景秀麗、礦產(chǎn)豐富、人際和諧和永遠年輕長壽的人間樂土。香格里拉深藏在無人知曉的大山深處,擁有現(xiàn)代化的設(shè)備,卻不被任何宗教和政治支配。在西方文學中,香格里拉是隱藏在大山里的桃花源,主張中庸之道和儒家精神,人們安居樂業(yè),怡然自得。香格里拉的內(nèi)在責任是為即將來臨的第二次世界大戰(zhàn)提供一個避難所,它是現(xiàn)代的諾亞方舟。本文著重從浪漫主義色彩上分析希爾頓《消失的地平線》的創(chuàng)作背景、創(chuàng)作原因,以及作者在創(chuàng)造香格里拉這個崇尚自由的王國時心中對美好生活的憧憬和向往。 正文共分五部分: 導論部分展現(xiàn)《消失的地平線》的主要內(nèi)容,并簡單介紹國內(nèi)外的相關(guān)評論。 第一章分析了希爾頓對理想國度的想象和期望,分析了將香格里拉這個理想國度定址在中國的原因和必要性,并結(jié)合現(xiàn)實分析了虛擬世界中的卡拉卡爾山、藍月亮谷和喇嘛寺在現(xiàn)實世界中的原型。 第二章從浪漫主義的拜倫式英雄角度分析了小說中主要人物的性格特征、他們的態(tài)度轉(zhuǎn)變,,以及他們的奇特經(jīng)歷。 第三章重點分析希爾頓筆下東方文化,尤其是香格里拉的宗教和文化。 結(jié)論部分是對論文的總結(jié)。
[Abstract]:Against the background of the economic crisis and the chaotic social order after the first World War, James Hilton created his novel the lost Horizon to express his dissatisfaction and concern with Western civilization at that time. He successfully integrated the western civilization into Shangri-La of China, which not only had the traditional culture color of China, but also had the achievement of modern western civilization. Hilton coined the word "Shangri-la" and later launched a search for Shangri-La. In this novel, the author, through the narration of the hero Conway, presents a paradise of distant mystery, beautiful scenery, rich mineral resources, harmonious interpersonal relationship and forever young and long life. Deep in the unknown mountains, Shangri-la has modern equipment, but no religion or politics. In Western literature, Shangri-la is a peach blossom hidden in the mountains, advocating the doctrine of the mean and the Confucian spirit, people live and work in peace and contentment. Shangri-la 's inner duty is to provide a refuge for the coming second World War, the modern Noah's Ark. This paper analyzes the background and reasons of Hilton's lost Horizon from the perspective of romanticism, as well as the author's yearning for a better life in the creation of Shangri-La, a free kingdom. The text is divided into five parts: the introduction shows the main contents of the lost Horizon, and briefly introduces the relevant comments at home and abroad. The first chapter analyzes Hilton's imagination and expectation of the ideal country, analyzes the reason and necessity of locating Shangri-la, the ideal country in China, and analyzes the Karakar Mountain in the virtual world in combination with the reality. Blue Moon Valley and Lamas in the real world archetypal. The second chapter analyzes the characters of the main characters, their attitude changes and their strange experiences from the perspective of romantic Byron heroes. The third chapter focuses on the analysis of Hilton's oriental culture, especially Shangri-La 's religion and culture. The conclusion part is the summary of the paper.
