文學(xué)倫理學(xué)批評(píng)視角下的《紫顏色》

【摘要】:艾麗斯·沃克是20世紀(jì)美國(guó)非裔文學(xué)的代表作家之一,被譽(yù)為黑人婦女文學(xué)的代言人。她的小說(shuō)創(chuàng)作始終植根于美國(guó)南方黑人的文化傳統(tǒng),內(nèi)容主要反映深受社會(huì)和黑人男性雙重壓迫的黑人婦女的愛(ài)與恨,表現(xiàn)她們自我成長(zhǎng)和追求個(gè)性完整的斗爭(zhēng)。1982年出版的《紫顏色》是沃克對(duì)黑人女性文學(xué)的一大貢獻(xiàn),并于1983年為沃克攬下美國(guó)文學(xué)界的兩項(xiàng)大獎(jiǎng)—普利策小說(shuō)獎(jiǎng)和美國(guó)國(guó)家圖書獎(jiǎng)。在國(guó)外,沃克的作品一度備受關(guān)注,國(guó)內(nèi)學(xué)術(shù)界近年來(lái)也對(duì)其作品頗多關(guān)注,但對(duì)沃克作品的文學(xué)批評(píng)多從婦女主義角度展開分析,鮮有發(fā)現(xiàn)從文學(xué)倫理學(xué)批評(píng)視角展開研究。文學(xué)倫理學(xué)批評(píng)是一種文學(xué)批評(píng)方法,最早由聶珍釗教授提出,并在多位學(xué)者的共同努力下發(fā)展起來(lái),它認(rèn)為文學(xué)是特定歷史階段倫理觀念和道德生活的獨(dú)特表達(dá)形式,文學(xué)在本質(zhì)上是倫理的藝術(shù)。它旨在從當(dāng)時(shí)的倫理立場(chǎng)來(lái)解讀,分析和闡釋文學(xué)作品,探尋作品中導(dǎo)致社會(huì)事件和影響人物命運(yùn)的倫理因素,并從歷史的角度做出道德評(píng)價(jià)。倫理,倫理環(huán)境,倫理身份,倫理意識(shí),倫理選擇等都是該批評(píng)方法的核心術(shù)語(yǔ)。本文試圖以文學(xué)倫理學(xué)批評(píng)方法為大框架,,從倫理環(huán)境壓迫,倫理身份缺失,倫理意識(shí)覺(jué)醒這三個(gè)層面來(lái)對(duì)《紫顏色》進(jìn)行系統(tǒng)研究,探討《紫顏色》中沃克對(duì)黑人女性形象的刻畫,以便更好地理解艾麗斯.沃克求真求善求圣的人文倫理思想及倫理訴求。 本文共由六部分組成。 第一章是論文的引言部分。這一章扼要介紹沃克的生平,文學(xué)成就。重點(diǎn)放在對(duì)沃克及其《紫顏色》的國(guó)內(nèi)外研究現(xiàn)狀的介紹上。 第二章簡(jiǎn)要闡釋文學(xué)倫理學(xué)批評(píng)方法的概念和這一理論的主要內(nèi)容。進(jìn)而提出以文學(xué)倫理學(xué)的批評(píng)方法為主要框架,用文本細(xì)讀的方式探索分析《紫顏色》中蘊(yùn)含的豐富倫理內(nèi)涵。最后提出本論文的研究意義。 第三章研究倫理環(huán)境的壓迫,人總是生活在一定的社會(huì)環(huán)境中,通過(guò)分析黑人與白人社會(huì)以及黑人與黑人內(nèi)部社區(qū)的關(guān)系,探討作者在該層面“求真”的倫理態(tài)度與追求,凸顯了沃克對(duì)黑人與白人社會(huì)之間,黑人男性與黑人女性之間建立一種和諧,平等關(guān)系這一真理的詮釋。 第四章詳細(xì)分析倫理身份的缺失,倫理身份總是通過(guò)與他人的關(guān)系體現(xiàn)出來(lái)的,通過(guò)分析黑人女性與父母,丈夫的關(guān)系,探究作者在該層面“求善”的倫理主張,彰顯了沃克對(duì)獨(dú)立愛(ài)黑人姐妹情誼這些不同形式善的倡導(dǎo)。 第五章主要論述倫理意識(shí)的覺(jué)醒。倫理意識(shí)反映的是人與自我的關(guān)系,探尋作者在該層面“求圣”的倫理訴求。自省經(jīng)濟(jì)獨(dú)立悔改向善是沃克所追求的“圣”的表現(xiàn)形式與實(shí)現(xiàn)途徑。 第六章是論文的結(jié)論部分。本論文認(rèn)為沃克在《紫顏色》中無(wú)情的揭示了黑人女性的悲慘境遇,并提出了自己的倫理訴求,真理平等愛(ài)經(jīng)濟(jì)獨(dú)立以及黑人女性的姐妹情誼是黑人女性獲得成長(zhǎng)的一劑良藥同時(shí)黑人民族要獲得真正意義上的解放,黑人男性的自省與完善也是必要的。
[Abstract]:Alice Walker, one of the representative writers of American African American Literature in the twentieth Century, is praised as the spokesperson for the black women's literature. Her novel is rooted in the cultural tradition of the black people in the south of the United States. The content mainly reflects the love and hatred of the black women who are deeply oppressed by both the society and the black men, and shows their self growth and the pursuit of personality. The "purple color", published in the complete struggle in.1982, is a great contribution to the black women's literature by Walker. In 1983, it was Walker's two awards for the American literary world - Pulitzer's prize and the National Book Award for the United States. In foreign countries, Walker's works have been paid much attention to. The literary criticism of his works is mostly analyzed from the perspective of feminism, and few of them have been found from the perspective of Literary Ethics Criticism. Literary Ethics Criticism is a literary criticism method, which was first proposed by Professor Nie Zhenzhao and developed under the joint efforts of many scholars. It thinks that literature is the ethical concept and way of a specific historical stage. The unique expression form of moral life, literature is essentially an ethical art. It aims to interpret and analyze and interpret literary works from the ethical standpoint of the time, to explore the ethical factors that lead to social events and to influence the fate of the characters, and to make a moral evaluation from a historical point of view. This paper tries to make a systematic study of "purple color >" from the three levels of ethical environment oppression, lack of ethical identity and the awakening of ethical consciousness to explore the portrayal of Walker's image of black people in the purple color in order to better understand Ai Li. Walker seeks truth, seeks for goodness, seeks the humanistic ethical thought and ethical appeal of saint.
This article is composed of six parts.
The first chapter is the introduction of the thesis. This chapter is a brief introduction to Walker's life and literary achievements. The emphasis is on the present situation at home and abroad of Walker and his < purple color >.
The second chapter briefly explains the concept of the method of Literary Ethics Criticism and the main content of this theory, and then puts forward that the main frame of the criticism method of Literary Ethics is to explore and analyze the rich ethical connotation contained in the purple color in the way of text reading. Finally, the significance of this thesis is put forward.
The third chapter studies the oppression of the ethical environment. People always live in a certain social environment. Through the analysis of the relationship between black and white society and the inner community of black and black, the author explores the ethical attitude and pursuit of the author "seeking truth" at this level, and highlights Walker's Construction between black and white society, black men and black women. An interpretation of the truth of a kind of harmony and equality.
The fourth chapter analyzes the lack of ethical identity in detail. Ethical identity is always reflected by the relationship with others. Through the analysis of the relationship between the black women and their parents and their husbands, the author explores the author's ethical ideas of "seeking good" at this level, and highlights Walker's advocacy of the different forms of kindness, love, black sister and sister love.
The fifth chapter mainly discusses the awakening of ethical consciousness. The ethical consciousness reflects the relationship between man and self, and seeks the ethical demands of the author to "seek holy" at this level. Self reflection, economic independence, repentance and kindness are the forms and ways of Walker's pursuit of "Saint".
The sixth chapter is the conclusion of the thesis. This thesis holds that Walker unrelentlessly reveals the tragic situation of black women in the purple color, and puts forward his own ethical demands. The truth? Equality? Love? Economic independence and the sisterhood of black women are a good medicine for black women to grow and the black people have to get real meaning. Emancipation, black men's introspection and improvement is also necessary.
