【摘要】：弗朗西斯·霍奇森·伯內(nèi)特的《秘密花園》被譽(yù)為是一部兒童經(jīng)典小說。小說講述了女主人公瑪麗尋求自我,從疏離到與自然、與其他人和諧共處的過程。自出版以來,國內(nèi)外學(xué)者從許多不同的角度對(duì)該小說進(jìn)行了分析。本文作者試圖以一個(gè)新的視角來探討小說中空間轉(zhuǎn)換與自我建構(gòu)的關(guān)系。 本論文以瑪麗所經(jīng)歷的自我轉(zhuǎn)變過程為線索,運(yùn)用空間理論,分析了空間場所的轉(zhuǎn)換所凸顯的社會(huì)關(guān)系變化,從而展現(xiàn)空間是怎樣參與瑪麗的自我建構(gòu)過程的。瑪麗的居所從“印度”、“英國牧師的家”到“密斯威特莊園”的轉(zhuǎn)移展現(xiàn)了其身心無家可歸的窘?jīng)r以及復(fù)雜的社會(huì)關(guān)系,揭示出空間的禁錮和規(guī)訓(xùn)對(duì)人的壓制以及由此產(chǎn)生的自我迷失的生存困境。在壓抑的密斯威特莊園中,通過與園丁本·威斯夫特、知更鳥、瑪莎的接觸,瑪麗獲得了自我認(rèn)識(shí)并打破父權(quán)制的壓迫,積極擴(kuò)展空間,找到了科林和秘密花園,同時(shí)也找到了內(nèi)心深處孤獨(dú)的自我。在發(fā)現(xiàn)自我后,瑪麗尋求各種方式來打破孤獨(dú),學(xué)會(huì)與自然和諧共處,與人平等互助,找到了歸屬感,從而實(shí)現(xiàn)精神上的救贖�，旣惖淖晕医�(gòu)過程表明空間位置的改變與人物的發(fā)展是息息相關(guān)的�？臻g中各個(gè)元素之間是相互作用的,要想獲得全新的自我,人類只有通過不斷溝通,相互理解,才能打破空間的限制,實(shí)現(xiàn)自我,重返社會(huì)。
[Abstract]:Francis Hodgson Burnett's Secret Garden is hailed as a classic novel for children. The novel tells the process of the heroine Mary seeking self, from alienation to nature, and living in harmony with others. Since its publication, scholars at home and abroad have analyzed the novel from many different angles. The author attempts to explore the relationship between spatial transformation and self-construction in the novel from a new perspective. Taking the self-transformation process experienced by Mary as the clue, this paper analyzes the changes of social relations highlighted by the transformation of space places by using the theory of space, so as to show how space is involved in the self-construction process of Mary. The shift in Mary's home from "India", "the home of a British pastor" to "Mitsuthwaite Abbey" reveals the plight of her homelessness and complex social relationships. It reveals the suppression of space and discipline on human beings and the existence dilemma of self-lost. Through contact with gardener Ben Weaver, Mockingbird, and Martha, Mary got to know herself and break the patriarchal oppression, expand her space, and find Colin and the secret garden. At the same time also found in the heart of the lonely self. After discovering herself, Mary sought all kinds of ways to break loneliness, learn to live in harmony with nature, help others equally, find a sense of belonging, and realize spiritual salvation. Mary's self-construction process shows that the change of spatial position is closely related to the development of characters. Each element in the space is interacted. If we want to obtain a new self, only through continuous communication and mutual understanding, can we break the limitation of space, realize self, and return to the society.
