【摘要】：歐內(nèi)斯特·海明威(1899-1961)是美國(guó)文學(xué)史上最富盛名的作家之一。海明威的短篇小說集大多數(shù)作品被奉為美國(guó)乃至世界文壇的典范。他的作品一經(jīng)介紹到中國(guó),便受到了無數(shù)讀者的青睞。本文通過對(duì)海明威短篇小說的討論與分析,旨在探討人與自然生態(tài)關(guān)系這一主題在海明威短篇小說中的表現(xiàn)及其成因。 生態(tài)批評(píng)興起于上世紀(jì)70年代,是一種基于全球日益惡化的生態(tài)壞境和人類對(duì)自身居住環(huán)境焦慮的文學(xué)批評(píng)理論,該理論一經(jīng)出現(xiàn),便在文學(xué)評(píng)論界掀起一陣綠色思潮。生態(tài)批評(píng)以批判并顛覆導(dǎo)致生態(tài)環(huán)境惡化的人類中心主義為己任,重新審視文化,揭露物種歧視,發(fā)掘生態(tài)智慧。 生態(tài)批評(píng)理論的出現(xiàn)為海明威小說研究提供了新方法。本論文將生態(tài)批評(píng)理論作為理論框架,對(duì)海明威的短篇小說中所蘊(yùn)涵的生態(tài)理念進(jìn)行解讀與探討。 論文分為三部分：導(dǎo)論,正文及結(jié)論。導(dǎo)論部分對(duì)海明威及其作品研究近況進(jìn)行了簡(jiǎn)要綜述,并對(duì)生態(tài)批評(píng)理論做了簡(jiǎn)短概括。第一章探究了海明威生態(tài)意識(shí)的三個(gè)主要成因。第二章通過對(duì)比三篇短篇小說的不同主題,從三個(gè)不同角度探討了海明威短篇小說中所體現(xiàn)的生態(tài)中心主義思想。第三章分析了海明威短篇小說中所反映出的人類中心主義觀點(diǎn)。第四章通過分析海明威其他短篇小說進(jìn)一步證明其生態(tài)中心主義思想。最后一部分對(duì)全文加以總結(jié),并得出結(jié)論,海明威具有復(fù)雜的生態(tài)思想并成為當(dāng)代生態(tài)運(yùn)動(dòng)的先驅(qū),藉此,警示世人應(yīng)如何與自然和諧相處。
[Abstract]:Ernest Hemingway (1899-1961) is one of the most famous writers in American literary history. Most of Hemingway's collection of short stories is regarded as a model in American and world literary circles. Once his works were introduced to China, Through the discussion and analysis of Hemingway's short stories, this paper aims to explore the expression and causes of the relationship between man and nature in Hemingway's short stories. Ecological criticism, which arose in -30s, is a theory of literary criticism based on the worsening ecological environment and the anxiety of human beings about their living environment. Ecological criticism takes criticism and subversion of anthropocentrism, which leads to deterioration of ecological environment, as its duty to re-examine culture, expose species discrimination, and discover ecological wisdom. The emergence of ecological criticism theory provides a new method for the study of Hemingway's novels. This paper takes the ecological criticism theory as the theoretical framework and interprets and discusses the ecological concept contained in Hemingway's short stories. The paper is divided into three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. The first chapter explores the three main causes of Hemingway's ecological consciousness. The second chapter compares the different themes of the three short stories. This paper probes into the ecocentrism thought embodied in Hemingway's short stories from three different angles. Chapter three analyzes the viewpoint of anthropocentrism reflected in Hemingway's short stories. Chapter 4th analyzes Hemingway's ideas of humanism. His short stories further prove his thought of ecocentrism. It is concluded that Hemingway has complex ecological thoughts and has become a pioneer of contemporary ecological movement, which warns the world how to live in harmony with nature.
