論喬伊斯創(chuàng)作中的“家庭”元素

【摘要】:詹姆斯·喬伊斯是一個(gè)有著特殊的“家庭情結(jié)”的作家,在他一生所寫的四部作品中,家庭的狀況和變化是始終貫穿其中的線索。他非常善于運(yùn)用家庭場景、家庭關(guān)系(父子關(guān)系、母子關(guān)系、夫妻關(guān)系)來塑造他筆下的人物。他對家庭的書寫在他的四部小說中具有遞進(jìn)性。 在《都柏林人》和《一個(gè)青年藝術(shù)家的肖像》中,家庭是被當(dāng)作社會單元和個(gè)人成長的背景與沃土來進(jìn)行書寫的。在前一部作品中,失衡的家庭關(guān)系影響了家庭中的每個(gè)人,而一個(gè)個(gè)家庭的癱瘓又引起了整個(gè)社會的癱瘓。在《一個(gè)青年藝術(shù)家的肖像》里,喬伊斯通過對人物內(nèi)心世界的挖掘,展現(xiàn)了家庭生活中父母作為兒童精神和心理發(fā)展的指引者對個(gè)人成長的影響。 在《尤利西斯》和《為芬尼根守靈》中,家庭被賦予了更多的象征性。在《尤利西斯》中,喬伊斯以更加開闊的眼光審視其一貫追求的作為藝術(shù)敘述精神內(nèi)核中的“家庭”主題,由微觀層面躍升到更為寬廣的視域,以至在一種自覺與不自覺地文本經(jīng)營中展現(xiàn)出了作為復(fù)雜多面體的西方現(xiàn)代社會的一個(gè)獨(dú)特的詮釋窗口和理解維度。在《為芬尼根守靈》中,“家庭”更成為歷史變遷中的一個(gè)宏觀視點(diǎn),成為歷史生生不息的循環(huán)中一個(gè)不變的構(gòu)成體。 縱觀喬伊斯的創(chuàng)作歷程,他對家庭以及受家庭影響的個(gè)人的關(guān)注始終末曾停歇。其作品對家庭書寫的延續(xù)性與遞進(jìn)性,展現(xiàn)了喬伊斯本人對祖國愛爾蘭、對整個(gè)現(xiàn)代西方社會以及對人類歷史的深度思考。
[Abstract]:James Joyce is a writer who has a special " family complex " . In his four works written in his life , the family ' s condition and change are all the clues . He is very good at using family scenes , family relationships ( parent - child relationships , mother - child relationships , husband - wife relationships ) to shape his characters . His writing in the family has progressiveness in his four novels . In the Portrait of a youth artist in Dublin , the family is written as a background and fertile ground for social and personal growth . In the previous work , the imbalance of family relations influenced everyone in the family , and the paralysis of a family caused a whole social paralysis . In a portrait of a young artist , Joyce demonstrated the influence of parents on personal growth as a guide to the spiritual and psychological development of children in the portrait of a young artist . The family has been endowed with more symbolic meaning in the conservation of Fennegan , which is the subject of " family " in the spirit of artistic narration . In the spirit of the consciousness and unconsciously , " family " is a unique interpretation window and understanding dimension of the western modern society as a complex polyhedron . In the spirit of " family " , " family " becomes a macro viewpoint in the historical change , and becomes a constant constituent in the cycle of history and life . Throughout the history of Joyce ' s creation , his attention to family and family - affected individuals has always been stopped . The continuity and progressiveness of his works in family writing demonstrated Joyce ' s appreciation of Ireland , the whole modern Western society , and the deep thinking about the history of mankind .
