【摘要】：與拉什迪、奈保爾并稱為“英國文壇移民三雄”的石黑一雄是目前最著名的當(dāng)代英國小說家之一,其作品以獨特的敘事特色而成為英國文學(xué)的經(jīng)典,尤其是時空變換下交錯的情節(jié)、似是而非的語言以及敘事過程中靈活多變的話語表達(dá)方式。本文沖破了傳統(tǒng)小說理論的情節(jié)、人物、背景的慣用分析模式,從側(cè)重研究小說的內(nèi)容轉(zhuǎn)向了側(cè)重研究小說的語言構(gòu)成,即小說是如何講述故事的。 本文以敘事學(xué)為基礎(chǔ),從敘述者、聚焦以及人物話語方式三個角度對石黑一雄的布克獎獲獎小說《長日留痕》進(jìn)行分析,著重研究作者在刻畫斯蒂芬斯時使用的不同敘事技巧。研究表明,作者使用的第一人稱不可靠敘事、內(nèi)聚焦、以及不同的話語表達(dá)方式等敘事手法,生動刻畫了一戰(zhàn)后英格蘭的一位盡善盡美之典型的男管家斯蒂文斯及其頹廢乖戾、偏執(zhí)保守的內(nèi)心世界。同時,斯蒂文斯矛盾復(fù)雜的內(nèi)心世界代表了人類在面對理想和現(xiàn)實差別時兩難境地,顯示了石黑一雄作為一位“國際化作家”對人類生存狀態(tài)的深切關(guān)注和思考。
[Abstract]:Together with Rushdie and Naipaul, Ishihiro Ishihiro, who is known as the "three heroes of British immigrants", is one of the most famous contemporary English novelists. His works have become the classics of English literature with their unique narrative characteristics. Especially the interlaced plot, specious language and flexible and changeable discourse expression in the narrative process. This paper breaks through the traditional novel theory of the plot, characters, background analysis mode. From the study of the content of the novel to the study of the language composition of the novel, that is, how the novel tells the story. Based on narratology, this paper analyzes Ishihiro Ishihiro's Booker Prize winning novel "long Day stay" from three angles: narrator, focus and character discourse style. The study focuses on the different narrative techniques used by the author in his portrayal of Stephens. The research shows that the first person unreliable narration, internal focus, and different ways of expression of discourse are used by the author. It vividly depicts a perfect butler Stevens and his decadent, paranoid, conservative inner world in England after the first World War. At the same time. Stevens' contradictory and complicated inner world represents the dilemma of human being when facing the difference between ideal and reality. It shows that Ishihiro Ishiki, as an international writer, pays close attention to and thinks deeply about the state of human existence.
