【摘要】：康拉德的代表作《黑暗的心》自出版以來就受到了各方面的關(guān)注,許多學(xué)者和評論家從不同角度進行了大量的分析,如：女性主義,心理分析等。本文主要從以賽義德,霍米巴巴和斯皮瓦克為代表的后殖民主義理論出發(fā),分析了《黑暗的心》中所體現(xiàn)出來的殖民主義和反殖民主義的主題。殖民主義的主題在文章中是顯而易見的。文章本身冒險小說的采用,以及小說中歐洲人對非洲的覬覦,這些都表明了殖民主義的主題。另外根據(jù)賽義德的東方學(xué)中的觀點,歐洲始終被認為是世界的“中心”,非洲和非洲人都是被邊緣化了的“他者”。反殖民的主題主要體現(xiàn)在三個方面。第一主要是對殖民者的虛偽性的揭露,他們打著給殖民地帶去先進文明的旗號,其實進行著剝削和奴役當(dāng)?shù)厝说墓串?dāng)。另外,對殖民者的殘忍和貪婪的揭露也是《黑暗的心》反殖民主題的表現(xiàn)之一,他們對待非洲人就像是對待動物一樣,到非洲來的唯一目的就是掙錢,最后變得越來越貪婪,他們對金錢的渴望從來沒有滿足過。最后,對殖民者文化中的文化霸權(quán)的揭露也反映了《黑暗的心》的反殖民主題,他們自認為自己的文化是世界上最先進的文化,所以強迫非洲人接受而且從不考慮他們的感受。 本文試圖通過后殖民主義理論來分析和研究《黑暗的心》中所體現(xiàn)出來的殖民主義和反殖民主義的兩大主題,可以看出盡管康拉德在對待殖民主義的態(tài)度上表現(xiàn)出了一定的矛盾性,但是他對殖民主義的揭露是走在時代前列的,他的作品在反殖民主義的道路上起到了巨大的促進作用。
[Abstract]:Conrad's masterpiece, Heart of Darkness, has attracted much attention since its publication. Many scholars and critics have made a lot of analysis from different angles, such as feminism. Psychoanalysis and so on. This article mainly starts from the post-colonialism theory represented by said, HomiBaba and Spivak. This paper analyzes the themes of colonialism and anti-colonialism embodied in Heart of Darkness. The theme of colonialism is obvious in the article. The European coveting of Africa in the novel shows the theme of colonialism. In addition, according to said's Orientalism, Europe has always been regarded as the "center" of the world. Africa and Africans are both marginalized "other". The theme of anti-colonial is mainly embodied in three aspects. The first one is mainly to expose the hypocrisy of the colonists, who bring advanced civilization to the colonies. In fact, exploitation and enslavement of the local people are carried out. In addition, the exposure of cruelty and greed to the colonists is also one of the manifestations of the anti-colonial theme of Heart of Darkness, which treats Africans like animals. The only purpose of coming to Africa is to make money, and eventually become more and more greedy, their desire for money has never been satisfied. Finally. The exposure of cultural hegemony in the culture of the colonists also reflects the anti-colonial theme of Heart of Darkness, who consider their culture to be the most advanced culture in the world. So forcing Africans to accept and never take their feelings into account. This paper attempts to analyze and study the two major themes of colonialism and anti-colonialism embodied in Heart of Darkness through the theory of post colonialism. It can be seen that although Conrad showed a certain contradiction in his attitude to colonialism, his exposure to colonialism was in the forefront of the times. His works played a great role in promoting anti-colonialism.
