【摘要】:《爵士樂(lè)》是托尼·莫里森的第六部小說(shuō),是一部記錄黑人在城市化進(jìn)程中創(chuàng)傷經(jīng)歷的作品。不過(guò),反映黑人的創(chuàng)傷并不是莫里森的最終目的,她要探尋的是如何幫助黑人走出創(chuàng)傷。盡管評(píng)論家們已經(jīng)開(kāi)始注意到《爵士樂(lè)》中人物的創(chuàng)傷與安全空間的缺失有關(guān),但是他們并沒(méi)有進(jìn)行系統(tǒng)性的研究。本文基于創(chuàng)傷理論,從多個(gè)層面對(duì)小說(shuō)人物的創(chuàng)傷進(jìn)行研究,涉及安全空間和身份尋求兩方面。同時(shí),本文更注重對(duì)莫里森關(guān)于創(chuàng)傷恢復(fù)觀點(diǎn)的研究。 本論文分為三個(gè)部分:引言,論文主體部分和結(jié)語(yǔ)。論文主體部分由三個(gè)章節(jié)構(gòu)成。第一章詳細(xì)闡述了維奧利特和多卡絲這兩個(gè)女性人物所經(jīng)歷的創(chuàng)傷。她們創(chuàng)傷的根源可以歸結(jié)為安全空間的缺失。安全空間是指一個(gè)可以讓人找到安全感的空間或狀態(tài),這對(duì)于黑人女性來(lái)說(shuō)是一個(gè)至關(guān)重要的因素。而這兩個(gè)女性人物安全空間的缺失很大程度上是由于母愛(ài)的缺失。 第二章以喬和戈?duì)柕恰じ窭诪槔敿?xì)分析了由身份危機(jī)引發(fā)的創(chuàng)傷。從心理學(xué)上來(lái)說(shuō),小說(shuō)中喬和戈?duì)柕恰じ窭讓ふ腋改傅男袨榭梢员灰暈樗麄儗?duì)自己身份的尋求。當(dāng)他們無(wú)法確認(rèn)自己身份的時(shí)候,他們就表現(xiàn)出明顯的創(chuàng)傷癥狀。 第三章探求了美國(guó)黑人創(chuàng)傷恢復(fù)的途徑。莫里森表明了交流在創(chuàng)傷恢復(fù)過(guò)程中重要性。通過(guò)爵士樂(lè)音樂(lè)和人物間的對(duì)話,小說(shuō)人物們開(kāi)始回憶自己的創(chuàng)傷經(jīng)歷,并逐步緩解和治愈他們的心理創(chuàng)傷。 結(jié)語(yǔ)部分對(duì)《爵士樂(lè)》中的創(chuàng)傷與恢復(fù)進(jìn)行了更深層次的探討,重申了家庭和社區(qū)中人與人之間紐帶的力量。
[Abstract]:Jazz is Tony Morrison ' s sixth novel , a work that records blacks ' traumatic experiences in the course of urbanization . However , it ' s not Morrison ' s ultimate aim to explore how to help blacks get out of the trauma . Although critics have begun to notice the trauma of the characters in jazz jazz to the lack of safety space , they do not systematically study . In this paper , based on trauma theory , the trauma of fictional characters is studied from multiple levels , involving safety space and identity seeking . At the same time , this paper focuses on the study of Morrison ' s point of view of trauma recovery . This thesis is divided into three parts : introduction , main part of the thesis and conclusion . The main part of the thesis consists of three chapters . The first chapter describes the trauma of the two female characters , which is the lack of safe space . The safety space refers to the space or state that can make people find the sense of safety . This is a crucial factor for the black women . The lack of safety space of these two women is largely due to the lack of maternal love . The second chapter analyzes the trauma caused by the identity crisis , taking Joe and Gorden Gray as an example . In psychology , Joe and Gorden Gray in the novel look for parents ' behavior as their quest for their identity . When they can ' t confirm their identity , they show obvious traumatic symptoms . The third chapter explores the path of American black trauma recovery . Morrison shows the importance of communication in the course of trauma recovery . Through dialogue between jazz music and characters , novel characters begin to recall their traumatic experiences and gradually alleviate and cure their psychological trauma . The conclusion part has a deeper discussion on the wound and recovery in jazz jazz , and reiterates the strength of the ties between the family and the community .
