【摘要】：文章共分四部分,通過分析笛福、理查森和菲爾丁的文學作品,探討18世紀英國作家對紳士形象的塑造。第一章從詞源角度梳理了紳士在不同歷史時期概念的演變,整理了紳士文化從騎士到19世紀公立學校紳士教育的變化,以及紳士精神在英國的繼承與發(fā)揚。第二章圍繞著笛福在作品《杰克上�！分械募澥繒鴮懻归_,笛福筆下的主人公杰克是個與“邪惡”無緣的十足的英國紳士,笛福賦予他高尚的品性。他心地善良、慷慨、正義。杰克幼小時就是個小偷,最后成為種植園主。杰克是社會底層的代表,通過努力,獲得了成功,實現(xiàn)了階級轉變,具有徹底的道德傾向。第三章分析了理查森的道德理想以及他作品中的道德形象的塑造。他書寫的完美紳士——格蘭迪森爵士的言行舉止具有更強烈的說教意義。他不受各種誘惑,守身如玉,對親人朋友慷慨大方,遇到需要幫助的人行俠仗義。第四章闡釋了菲爾丁對“自然人”紳士的描繪,他認為“人無完人”,人性中某些錯誤是由于社會腐敗和道德淪喪的環(huán)境所導致,人性中的自然道德才是根本。他筆下的湯姆就是善的代言人,是具有自然道德的化身。最后,文章總結了這三位小說家筆下的人物,表達了他們對當時社會道德論爭的回應,為新興階級的自我塑造提供了良好借鑒。
[Abstract]:The article is divided into four parts, through the analysis of Defoe, Richardson and Fielding's literary works, on eighteenth Century the British writer to shape the image of a gentleman. The first chapter from the perspective of etymology combed the gentleman in the development of the concept of different historical periods, the gentleman culture from the knight to change nineteenth Century public school gentleman education, inherit and carry forward the spirit and gentleman in the United Kingdom. The second chapter focuses on the writing of Defoe gentleman in the works < > in the colonel Jack, under the pen of Defoe Jack is a hero of "evil" and no real English gentleman, Defoe gives his noble character. His kindness, generosity, justice Jack young is a thief. Finally, as a planter. Jack is the representative of the bottom of society, through the efforts of success, the class change, has completely moral tendency. The third chapter analyzes Richardson's moral ideal And his work in the shape of moral image. Has a strong sense of writing his preaching the perfect gentleman, sir Grandison's demeanor. He is not subject to temptation, moral integrity, generosity to friends, meet people who need help Xingxiazhangyi. The fourth chapter explains the Fielding's depiction of the "natural person" gentleman he said, "no man is perfect, some human errors are the result of social corruption and moral environment caused by human nature, morality is the fundamental. Finally, this article summarizes the three works of the people express their moral debates on the social response, provides a good reference for the new class of self shaping.
