《贖罪》的弗洛伊德式研究

【摘要】:伊恩·麥克尤恩是英國當(dāng)前最具影響力的作家之一。他于1948年出生在漢普郡的奧爾德肖特。他寫過許多作品而且有些作品獲過許多獎項。他的許多作品他善于使用細(xì)膩而犀利的文筆勾繪現(xiàn)代人的各種不安以及恐懼。他主要探討暴力、愛欲、善與惡以及死亡,這使得他的作品的內(nèi)容非常離奇古怪。他通常探討性對人的主導(dǎo)還有由于性欲而使人性產(chǎn)生的扭曲,《贖罪》就是這樣一部作品。雖然不同的評論家從不同的角度對此小說進行廣泛研究,但是很少有人用弗洛伊德的理論對之進行研究。 本文旨在用弗洛伊德的人格理論對《贖罪》中的不同人物進行分析,從而使我們深刻了解保持人格平衡的重要性。由于以前的研究沒有對人物的人格進行足夠深入研究,這使得論文的選題有其必要性。 除了引言和結(jié)論,本篇論文包括三章。第一章討論了塞西莉亞的自我的主導(dǎo)地位。盡管她也追求愛情(她的本我)以及完美(她的超我),但是她過多地關(guān)注自己外在的平靜(她的自我),這導(dǎo)致了她的愛情悲劇。 第二章集中論述羅比的超我占據(jù)了主導(dǎo)地位。正如塞西莉亞一樣,在他內(nèi)心深處,他也追求愛情(他的本我),但是他舉止得體(他的自我)。由于他的超我處于統(tǒng)治地位,他按照超我嚴(yán)格地要求自己——按照自己的良心行事,這是他的愛情失敗的起因,,從而使得他不能與他心愛的女孩相愛。 第三章重點分析了布里奧妮的本我的主導(dǎo)地位。在其他人眼中,她是一個有才華的小女孩兒(她的自我),因為她從小就發(fā)揮自己的想象力,比如她曾寫過戲劇。同時她也追求完美和正義,那是她的超我。她對自己要求很嚴(yán)格并試圖達到超我的要求。但更重要的是她具有豐富的想象力,而且她的報復(fù)心很強(她的本我),這使得她犯了一個要用一生來彌補卻不可挽回的錯誤。 通過分析,我們知道保持本我、自我和超我的平衡的重要性。如果太過于注重本我,我們可能犯下不可饒恕的錯誤;如果像羅比一樣太過于關(guān)注自己的超我,那我們可能會失去本來應(yīng)有的東西;如果自我占據(jù)了主導(dǎo)地位,那么我們也不會很幸福。而只有將三者平衡,我們才能夠過上幸福的生活。
[Abstract]:Ian McEwan is one of the most influential writers in England today. He was born on 1948 in Oldshort, Hampshire. He has written many works and won many awards. Many of his works have won him many awards. He is good at using delicate and sharp writing to draw up all kinds of uneasiness and fear of modern people. He mainly discusses violence. Love, good and evil, and death make the content of his works very bizarre. He usually discusses the dominance of sex over people and the distortion of human nature caused by sexual desire. "Atonement" is one such work. Although the novel has been extensively studied by different critics from different angles, it is rarely studied with Freud's theory. The purpose of this paper is to use Freud's personality theory to analyze the different characters in Atonement. So that we can deeply understand the importance of maintaining personality balance, because the previous studies did not do a thorough study of the personality of the characters, which makes it necessary to choose the topic of this paper. In addition to the introduction and conclusions, this thesis consists of three chapters. The first chapter discusses Cecilia's dominant position in the ego, although she also pursues love (her ego) and perfection (her superego). But she paid too much attention to her external calmness (her ego), which led to her love tragedy. Chapter two focuses on the dominant role of Robbie's superego, who, like Cecilia, pursues love (his ego) in the depths of his heart. But he behaves well (his ego. Because his superego is in a dominant position, he strictly demands himself according to superego-acting according to his conscience, which is the cause of his love failure. So that he could not fall in love with the girl he loved. The third chapter focuses on the dominant role of Britney's ego. In the eyes of others, she is a talented little girl (her ego) because she has used her imagination since she was a child. For example, she has written plays. She also pursues perfection and justice, which is her superego. She is strict with herself and tries to achieve superego. But more importantly, she has a lot of imagination. And her vengeance was so strong that she made an irrevocable mistake that would take her a lifetime to make up for. Through analysis, we know the importance of maintaining the balance between the ego, the ego and the superego. If we pay too much attention to the ego, we may make unforgivable mistakes; If, like Robbie, we focus too much on our superego, we may lose what we ought to be; If the self dominates, then we will not be very happy, but only by balancing the three, we can lead a happy life.
